That quote from Jorge Valdano is possibly another fake quote generated by Messi fanboys like twitter. I searched the internet and couldn't find it ,other than barca accounts on twitter/ in webpage with collection of quotes about messi (they also copy pastes the stuff from barca accounts)

The same valdano said few months back that Messi , Maradona , pele , di stefano, johan cruyff are all on the same level on Marca.

There is huge possibility that those a portion of those quotes posted by @Bada Bing are fake quotes made up by messi fanboys like him on twitter
