Cmon who do you think it is?

My guess would have to be Tsartas from AEK Athens. Sure he went to Seville for a little, but he lost form their. went back to Greece, and his display against Real was nothing short of a masterpiece

Well, Mr. Macho, third choice keeper at Sunderland, just played a blinder against a 20 goal attempt Liverpool side. I've not heard of him until last Sunday...

and the slick playmaker from FC Basle just tore us apart in the Champions League 3-3 draw that eliminated the Reds. Sorry, can't recall his name right now, how's that for not knowing him?

Best Yank the world does not yet know about may be Tim Howard, yet another in the line of terrific American shot stoppers. He's a bit different than Friedel or Keller, in that he's relying on incredible athleticism right now, and once he couples that with experience and guile, he may be one of our all-time greats. Or maybe not.

    Great idea for a thread.

Dmitry Sychev from Spartak Moscow could end up being very good. It's too bad he has to play for such an underachieving side, though.
