personally, i can't come up with a reason why you would be displaying how pathetic your efforts are... not exactly something to brag home about... which seems to be the purpose of this thread

and the kc picture wouldn't be bad... provided they were doing something instead of just standing... it's probably the largest group pic i've ever seen of them, and there have been numerous laughers posted in the past

 

Metros pictures could be posted if they had real fans or a crowd.

So improving our section a little each year is "pathetic"? We do plenty of chants, the pictures I found just didnt have us doing one. (I've been to a Chicago game, and I'd say that Section 8 is singing or chanting a little more of the 90 minutes than the Cauldron, but not by a whole lot) I just find it sad that you've gotta rip on the people that are trying to do the same thing as your group is doing. Fine, sure, we're no where near the size you've got, but god damn it we try don't we? Theres a place for talking smack on BigSoccer, and I assumed it wasn't this thread or forum. I figured that with those pictures you'd see (as you even hinted at) that just like our overall attendance in KC our section was getting bigger and better as well.

The "truth" is that is Arrowhead Stadium and about a 14 hour road trip for a team that had its WORST YEAR EVER.

One of the greatest threads, ever.

As an old fart, who cut his teeth on NASL in Seattle and Anaheim, it is great to see all those shots.

Thanks to the Fire fans I joined on a warm June night in Naperville, this year. The place was rocking, and I am backing the Fire all the way.

Also, big kudos to the Crew fans who have always got it right. They were magnifico getting behind the Crew's come back on the last match of the regular season.

Seeing all these youngins getting right up for their side and showing the way, gives me a sense of satifaction and hope for the future that can hardly be described.

 

no, 99 Metrostars got you beat there. Thats the only thing that team will win is competition for the worse team all time.

 

I think he point was that it was Dallas' worst team ever, and the fact that any Dallas fans drove all the way to KC for a game was impressive.
