Not the Scifo one yet, but quite a few recently appeared ones generally anyway: Cristiano Puskas - YouTube And I think it's fitting, as a Forest fan, if I should post a link to the John Robertson one (vs Cologne in the 3-3 game from 1978/79) - probably his best performance uploaded like this on Youtube I'd say (though I made the one for Scotland vs East Germany 1982 myself and he did play very well in that one too and had key assists) - without counting he must have quite a lot of dribbles in this one himself, and on a 'dodgy' pitch on that day as you can see (though that wouldn't help defenders either obviously)
https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/t...e-dutch-belgian-and-british-football.2137531/ well, George Best ....my Top-14 ... between ...dutch , belgian and british players and on Ronaldinho Gaucho i don't put him between Top-100 of all timer !
i'm seeing on this moment again and again Real Madrid vs Frankfurt 1960 Final ! Look Del sol ... has so many many dribbles completed and still is missing 4 minutes lesser by problems .. power light dying during the transmission from this Match there ..in 1960 !
on Ronaldinho Gaucho on professional Football : 816 Matches 299 Goals 203 Assists ( including Non-Opta ) + 29 penalties suffered won % average 3 key -Passes 7 or 8 dribbles completed per 90 minutes played Uefa Cup 2003-2004 between 0, 40 % or 0, 42 % at maximum goals per 90 minutes played 0, 30 % Assists ..per 90 minutes played ! defensive actions only : 2, 5 per 90 minutes played at His peak comparing with other greater players of the all Football History Ronaldinho is behind and so far away from the majority of the greater players .."! Ronaldinho was a limited player !!
limited player ! not a Total Footballer ! Ronaldinho is level from Roberto Baggio or Dennis Bergkamp on my view !
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1w8i41 Alfredo Di Stefano 10 - defensive actions + 5 dribbles completed Del Sol 10 dribbles Attempts 7 dribbles completed Gento 8 dribbles Attempts 4 dribbles completed Ferenc Puskas 5 - dribbles completed like He did it against England in 1953 !
Good research, so they completed fewer dribbles than Dinho and Messi. And Best would still be the record holder. Van Basten also dribbled with good frequency and efficiency. We cannot dismiss dribbling as something insignificant, it is an important skill, it destabilizes defenses, it breaks down tactical systems.
But by your Logic on Football that you mentioned on Ronaldinho or Messi Del Sol is better player than Di Stefano , Puskas and Gento for example !!!!????
i disagree totally from you Van Basten dribbled at Ajax years and until the Euro-cup 1988 later 1988-1989 season Marco dribbled much lesser than Evani , Gullit and Donadoni at averages for example almost don't dribble anyone Marco dribbled more than Dennis Bergkamp for example .. but Bergkamp never dribbled anyone Marco at Ac Milan years ..dribbled almost nothing ..! Frank 73 .. is right when He speaks it here always
on Best record honestly ... i don't know maybe Angelo Sormani in 1969 maybe Piet Keizer ...1971 and 1972 !
Great Video Carlito 86 yes ! When i was much more younger than now for sure i was a Fan of Veron i can't deny about this .. honestly speaking with you nowadays i'm really impressed with Unai Emery's amazing Tactics He uses one part like Gegen-pressing Style Arrigo Sacchi 80's later .. in Lower Block .. Unai uses Catenaccio from Inter Milan 60's... is pretty cool how UNai Emery can adapt fastly with wiser mind ..
Unai Emery uses sometimes W-M .. from Hungary 50's and Real Madrid 50s' also !! when is to play much more offensive with higher-pressure at the same time . "!
Veron for me , was the modern Gerson from 1970 World Cup .. had more agility and speed at His peak perhaps !!
