Yes, yet another football boot discussion, lol!!

I was wondering whoch football boot to get, I already have the Predator Pulse silver. I am tryin to choose between, Mercurial Vapors, Adidas F50's, Predator Pulse (Black/Red Ones) I have FG in the Pulse silver, do you suggest I get a SG in one of the boots listed above? If you want, please advise me on other good boot choices, Thanks!!

i'd go for the vapours and i wouldn't get to pairs of same boots even though one is sg and the other is fg its the same boot different studs better to get two different boots.

It has to be the Vapor's because they have changed the way boots are made. Before that, people werent really interested in how light boots make you run faster, well they were, but not to the Vapors extent. They are revoloutionary!

Is it worth the extra £30/40 for the Vapor II's when the Vapor I's are £90-100?

Well the vapours 2 are more comfortable thus giving you no blisters whats so ever, they weight the same and you won't have the blisters after you brake in the vapour 1. So it's your choice do you want to pay the extra money so that you have no blisters for the first few weeks or do you want to spend less money and get the blisters until you brake them in? ;)

Would the AZT90III's be the best, or stick to vapors?

Up front, I heard AZT90III's are sort of a defenders boot.

Yea, a forward would probably be better off with vapors if you are more of a speed player, although some forwards do wear azt90III's like rooney

And Ronaldinho, and Scholes to name a few...

Vapors seem to be better for sprinting, if you have explosive pace.

Interesting read...I been thinking of getting some new boots and now this thread sent me over the edge.

I've always played with copa mundial's...time step to the modern era. I have literally almost worn a hole near the big toe of my left shoe.

So vapors seem to be the boot to get?

Anyone have any thoughs on any of the boots from Puma, Lotto? I have pretty slender feet (especially narrow ankle) and IIRC, puma's ankle tend to be wide.

    thanks!

Yes, I am a very fast player. Have vapors got the same attributes as the AZT90III's?

The best 3 boots on the market are Copa Mundials, Puma Kings, Umbro Specialis. Nearly all other boots are false technology, fashion shows. Seriously funcionality comfort durability everything else is unnecessary. They own all three and too be honest with yourself, they look better too. Buy yourself a pair, get rid of your Nike Super Slippers your Adidas Pink Predators, get the best.

I have always used puma kings, adidas copa mundials (the german ones if possible) and nike tiempo premiers, but i have also worn predator manias. I really like the preds but if you dont wanna spend the money and stilll get a quality boot then go for one of the three i listed up top. all have very supple and good leather and are durable. I really wanna buy a pair of AZT 90 II cuz they are on sale. any comments on those?
    thanks.

im a fast forward with an explosive burst of speed. I think all these light boots r good because at the moment im wearin pulses which r more of a midfielders boot. Im not goin 2 get the vapours because i have a wide-ish foot so i fink white/blue f50s shud do me. I heard they r almost as lite as vapours but more comfy.
