Dont you know Brazilians with busted teeth are the best players in the world?

I wouldn't want to sell Luiz nor Jorge Jesus. Both need to stay.

We all know Di Maria doesn't want to stay here, so I say sell him while he is still gonna command a high price. Cardozo I'm ambivalent about. He is worthless without a good support striker by his side, but he does bring the goals. If they offer a good price, take it.

If we could keep everyone to compete in the CL, great. But if we lose Di Maria, I wouldnt stress it. Dont want a player who doesnt want to stay be at the team, plus we have the equally talented Coentrao. Only thing that Coentrao lacks that Di Maria is better is goal scoring.

As for Cardozo, I think as long as we have Saviola and Aimar surrounding him, he must stay. Cardozo/Saviola combo does damage! As we saw the past few weeks with Saviola's injury, he's crap alone. But give him credit, with a good partner, he's a beast.

If we sell Savi, we should get Neymar. Hes still relatively unknown in Europe, but his stock is starting to fly. He scored 5 goals today....

He still isn't big enough to play in the EPL or Series A in my opinion, but somewhere in Iberia I can see him becoming succesful. Prob take something like 7 - 10 million to pull him tho.

Him and Robinho upfront is so entertaining. Imagine if they still had Diego..lol

Neymar is pretty well known, but I think considering we speak his language he'd consider us. But then again,we have a long line of Brazilian prospect failures in Portugal. Fabiano, Diego, Keirrison...

Fabiano was a huge failure, but I still don't rate him very highly. Hes losing his place on the NT at the moment too if you ask me. Never been a fan of his even at Sevilla.

Kierrison is a good player, but Benfica was stacked at striker, and Barcelona was asking alot for him to play ahead of Cardozo, Savi, Nuno and Weldon. It was also only for 6 months, can't really consider that a failure. Just bad management from Barca....

Diego wasn't a failure either in my opinion. In his 2 year at Porto he did well I though. He was streaky, but hes still streaky even today. Every once in a while he showed some real skill, whether it be with a pass or goal. I always believe Porto sold him too early.

Neymar would fit right into the way Benfica play if you ask me. Hes more athletic then Savi, but they have the same build, have equal finishing, would complement either Cardozo or Kardec as well.

Great to hear from Vieira. I want to compete next year. Just need a RWB, maybe Nelson would want to come back?

Nice to see Maku get rewarded, he deserved it. Been a big hit over in Turkey.

I agree, glad to hear, let's just hope he keeps his word. Money talks...so we'll see. I love Maxi at RB. We need a LB, Di Maria is gone. Fabio takes over, need LB position. I'd actually love to have Nelson back, or maybe even Miguel.

Wonder who our new GK will be, so far we've heard Romero and De Gea. I'd love to see De Gea. Quique wants Luisao, maybe we can get Simao + De Gea for Luisao + someone else?

Miguel or Nelson would make me so happy, I doubt they would play LB. Nelson is capable. Hes wasting away at Real Betis in the 2nd division. Doesn't look like they will make it back up as they are in 3rd at the moment. I am sure he would love to return to European futebol.

Shame we let him go, but for 6 million, I guess why not. While Maxi is and has been good, I still think Nelson is a better option. I have yet to see a person cross the ball like Nelson, with such accuracy and velocity, on both feet since he left. Didn't he lead Benfica in assists one year? Imgine Nelson, and his ridiculously accurate crosses with Oscars giant head.

I love Nelson! Didnt want to see him go. His crosses really are AMAZING! World Class. Really is a waste at Real Betis. Never forgot his jaw dropping goal vs. ManUtd! Nelson and Leo as fullbacks for Benfica we're friggin awesome! Heck, Im willing to bring Leo back too. Love that little Brazilian! So much heart and character that guy has! Never forget how he kept shutting down RONALDINHO in his prime in the Benfica vs. Barcela CL game. Our LB problem started when Leo left. Unfortunately his dad fell ill and he had to go back to Brazil.

Nelson, REALLY ???; You guys are posting while high again :p.

I remember some of those great crosses, I also remember even more defensive screw-ups, balls sent into the 20th row, and whining. Nelson was bunk, I'm glad he's rotting in the Spanish second division, it matches his highly overrated talent level.

As for Miguel that's a different story, I loved that guy and even though he's past his peak now I would still take him back in a heartbeat.

Congrats to Makukula on the transfer and congrats to Benfica for getting some money cash for that guy. I seriously thought he was one of the dumbest signings we've made in years although he always seemed like a good guy and I'm glad he's excelling in Turkey.

Yeah, really, Joelz and B4L are clearly forgetting WHY he was sold. The guy was legit trash after the first half of 05/06, where he was brilliant. After that he was a complete shade of his former self. Did we really manage to get 6 million for him? Straight robbery right there.
