Playing with the 3 upfront so far apart?...I don't think that will work...neither Amorim or Ramires holding the midfield.

Bad idea. You want strikers laying as wingers? That would never work. If you want a 4-3-3, you would need players like Di Maria, Reyes and Urreta. Aimar could play as a RW as well, but strikers?

If you want 3 strikers this would be the best way to go...

    ------------Cardozo----------------
    ------Falcao--------Saviola

Im a 2 strikers up front kinda guy though....

THANK GOD!!!! Jesus doesnt want Jorge Ribeiro and Binya! :D Thoseare the 2 I wanted to get rid of.

    Jorge Ribeiro "dispensável"
TREINADOR NÃO CONTA COM LATERAL NEM COM BINYA

Moretto will be leaving and Benfica are looking to pick up Julio Cesar from Belenenses.

Falcao will indeed play for Benfica. Benfica are paying 3.5 million for 50% of his pass. And the signing may be resolved by the end of today.

We have many talented strikers now if reports of bagging Falcao are accurate.
Cardozo(Untouchable in my opinion), Falcao, Saviola(Who will play because we are paying him a good amount), Urreta, and not to mention Nuno Gomes.

I am glad we are getting rid of Ribeiro and Binya. I had a soft spot for Ribiero but he is too much of a liability on defense, he just didn't cut it.

this guy falcao get signed n yall r ready to drop someone out the midfield to put him up there....commoni toguht everybody here loved the idea of a 4-4-2...i think falcão wud be a MUCH better weapon off the bench, for tactical use....IMO i think benfica wud b better off wit a 4-4-2.....n as we all know porto r the masters of that 4-3-3 formation

I've been reading that a couple of clubs in Portugal are interested. Maritimo being one of them.

Meh, he had a few good outing for Benfica, but was horrendous on others. With Ramires, Amorim, Ybeda, and Bastos, I think we have enough cover in the CM/DM position. I wouldn't mind bringing in another player from in league though, perhaps Ruben Miceal, but I just see him as another Amorim.

No need for Binya when we have Ramires, up and coming Bastos,Yebda and Ruben Amorim who can play DM very effectively.

Binya is too much of a liability. He has great speed and a lot of endurance, but little footballing ability. He is over aggressive and they fact that he has soo much energy is sometime a bad thing. He'll recover the back and give it right back to the other team with a terrible pass. No thanks.

Racing Santander was interested in him back in January. Dont know if they still want him, but if they here the news hes for sale im sure they jump on the oppurtunity.

I can definitely see Binya playing for Braga, Guimarares, Nacional or Maritimo. Im sure one of the smaller Portuguese teams will grab both Binya and Jorge Ribeiro. Wouldnt be surprised if Ribeiro went back to Braga. Neither player have a place on Benfica. Never did...

I highly doubt 'Pool made an offer for him: has to be speculation/exaggeration on the press's part.

Regardless of whether Liverpool made an offer for him or not, Benfica is paying 4 million for him while Liverpool's supposed offer was only 3.5 anyways.

Florentina has acquired about Reyes. A bunch of teams are informing about him now. But I find it a good sign that he is still in Portugal at this point, physically.

Lets no forget Ronaldo either, he drove down there with a red hot Ferrari.

Apparently he was seen still in Lisboa last week and my vo told me he was in Algarve now as well.

Also, thats an impressive list of players in the Algarve, it really is becoming of the premier vacation destination for the wealthy. Portugal just needs to invest it in more heavily. Especially in places like Vilamoura, and Portimao.

1 Million Euros a day, I read that as well. But very little places in the Algarve have that type of hospitality. Its not Miami, NYC, or Italy. So I skeptical.

And I know about the Algarve. My family have a condo spot in Monte Gordo literally 1 block away from the beach. I love it there. Villamoura/Quarteria is my favorite city down there.
