On Ruben Micael, I don't want him. He basically plays the same position as Martins and Amorim. We have enough CM. We should go for a straight DM.

I dont want Ruben Micael either. Im anxious to see Alvaro in action and Quaresma looks like a total homo in that picture.

Happy to see the club address its need for outside backs with the signings of Alvaro and Patric. All season long we've known we needed to improve that area.
BTW, how much time did Alvaro spend in the midfield as opposed to the back?

Haha good one. I would definitely swap Maxi's. Or even Maxi for Simao back lol.

I do want Benfica to pick up Maniche though. He's a free agent.

All the reports out of Spain the past year an a half have said he's basically a cancer in that locker room. Benfica doesn't need any more drama. Besides hell prob end up in Porto.

But it would be awesome to get Simao back. He bled for the shirt. The only ones who do that now imo are Nuno and Luisao to an extent.

I would put Mantorras, Cardozo, in that same category though as well.

But there is no way Atletico will give us Simao. He has been a vital player for them this season.

Oh they would never give us back Simao. It is nice to dream. And your right about Cardozo and Mantorras (def Mantorras, even tho Benfica ruined his career).

Well it wasn't really ruined by Benfica. I will admit that he did not get many opportunities after he tore his knee. But that injury really hurt him. He was so fast and quick prior to the injury, he was never the same afterward. But he was still very very clinical though.

Didn't he marry a Portuguese women? I think he has made Lisbao his permanent home, no? Although I am not sure about that last part. He absolutely loves his home country.

Well we knew the Quaresma wasn't going to happen. Alvaro was accurate. Ruben Miceal could still happen, although I hope it doesn't.

The fact is Benfica didnt get to the CL and wont get any CL money...and after the spending spree they need some way of balencing out the books so they will need to sell some players. I think Luisao, Cardozo, Katsouranis, and Di maria will be the casualties...I pray Cardozo doesnt leave though....but if the offer is right...around 30 million then I say do it.
