I enjoyed the bonus content. And to think, there wasn’t a surcharge. Wonderful!

Tillman hasn’t made much of impact at Leverkusen yet, unfortunately. Hope he gain some momentum going forward. He has been doing ‘ok’ but as others have mentioned, as a relatively big Euro signing and wearing the 10, being impactful is expected.

Lol. I just now realized I did like half the PBP here - I thought it was just the two posts at the top of the page.

Bet a few of y'all wondered when Tillman went to Lens, or Weah to Weder!

Tillman drives me nuts. He's so damn good and if he ever gets the consistency ironed out..... he could go from a $35M player to $100M player. I truly believe that.

He's still pretty young. He works hard at his flaws. If he stays healthy he's going to play a lot of good ball for the next 7-8 years.

He's got excellent placement on his shots. Comes from making such clean contact. What a player!

Actually did watch the BL game - still feel like there are moments when MT is a little to cute/confident for his, or his team's, own good, but that's probably true of all talented players. But he has really become one of BL's midfield generals, covers a lot of ground both vertically and horizontally and his late runs into the box are very effective. It was a weird game, with EF sitting back very deep the first half, giving BL like 70% possession and BL making them pay - then they came out in the 2nd half pressing much higher and challenging more quickly in the midfield and BL did not really respond to the pressure well, giving up a goal and also getting very disjointed in their attack and transition. If not for the stupid double YC in the space of about 10 mins resulting in a Red, EF. might have made this a game.

Agree with the review overall.... I do think it is worth mentioning that he also had two world-class passes in this one that could... err should have been put home. The first was a pinpoint cross from the right side which was headed over the bar by Tapsoba. The second one came in the 2nd half and was a no-look, volley pass to Schick who took it down off his chest but was shoved from behind which resulted in no-shot (I thought it was a PK). This must be the 3rd or 4th time I have complained about Tillman's bad luck WRT assists.

Yeah, I called out that cross in the PbP - it was inch perfect and hard to see how Tapsoba didn't get up over it enough to put it on goal. Tillman just has a really good all-around game. He made the shot look like a gimme - when it's one plenty of guys miss. Had a couple of challenging giveaways, but he's really been on the last 2 games - as has the team overall. Shook off the Xmas doledrums for good I hope.
