Anyone here been following NBA this season? Nurkic has been a bit inconsistent this year. He's had some excellent performances against top teams and primetime games. Sometimes he comes out there and looks disinterested. Hopefully the consistency will come with age. He's only 23.
Me. I've been kind of disappointed with Nurkic this year, I thought he would take a bigger step forward with how he finished last season and how in-shape he got this year. Still though, he's put up nice performances and his Per 36 numbers are solid 19 ppg 10 rpg 3 apg
Musa scored 21 points in his final game for Cedevita yesterday, leading them to his 3rd straight league title in Croatia and their 4th in a row overall. 17 days left until the NBA draft, where we'll find out which teams Musa and college star Ajdin Penava (who's reported to be joining the Phoenix Suns workouts soon) are going to play for next season.
Great situation for Musa as he will get ample opportunities and playing time to develop with the Nets who are in the rebuilding process and should have cap space next summer for possibly 2 max contracts.
They are but what a young player needs the most is playing time in order to develop and a "horrible" team like the Nets will be able to provide that as they'll be tanking this season again and clearing cap space for next summer's FA period.
Haha the way our papers were building him up he might as well have been a two sport athlete at the professional level
