The Away Goals Rule Doesn't Count...

    ...as Monterrey know very well, since they drew 3-3 at home last night after a 1-1 draw in the away leg. Using the away goals rule, Monterrey would have been out, but instead qualified for the semis. Can someone explain the rules in the Mexican play-offs so I can understand what the criteria used is? Is it merely about the best placing in the league that decides a tie, and does this carry into the semis as well?

    Best placing during regular season is the tiebreaker for quarters and semis. For the final, the game goes to overtime (no golden goal), and if necessary penalty kicks.

    The game disturbed me in the second half as the bunker was in effect it seemed.

    0-0 meh, well, rather, I'll take it. Take it back to El tec, and handle that business.
