I would say the standard of men's football is higher in Latin america than Real Madrid's women's team.
The standard of 80% of football played in the world is barely worth watching, men or women. The elite 15 teams or so in the world are carrying the entire sport. There's hundreds of divisions and teams across the globe. Most of it is barely worth watching other than as a distraction while winding down after work. If I have something better to do, you bet the TV stays off during most games. I support Real Madrid across all sports. If we'd have a baseball or chess team tomorrow that would instantly attract my interest. I'm not being a hero for women's football here although it's funny how people suddenly become connoisseurs when it comes to women sports but will watch Arsenal and Everton bumble pathetically every weekend and not complain about it.

Bullshit, people here were commenting exclusively on women's football. There are a lot of high level female athletes that sports fans simply stop everything they're doing to watch. Tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, so many great female athletes there. People have an issue with women's football because the level is too low and you have toxic people like that Rapinoe lady kinda demanding to have the same attention and wages as Neymar while her team would probably lose to an under-15 male team.
