As they say on NCIS, "Call Gibbs!"

i will. i'd rather prefer to wait and watch it on fsc with good quality then on a stream that could crap out at any second.

gibbs will play saturday. does djourou play left cb? i think i'd rather have toure on the left side to provide a little more covering speed and experience as gibbs can get caught out at times.

Having Clichy out for 2 weeks is a huge blow to the team as I feel he is the best defender Arsenal has. In saying that though Gibbs has done pretty good this year and I think he should start as he will do fine. Should be interesting to see if Eduardo or Van Persie will be available. On one hand you want them back as the team is thin and in need of star power but on the other hand you don't want to rush them back only to have them aggregate the problem once again making it worse.

I am not worried about Gibbs. At least, not worried about him against Wigan and Villareal. I think Djourou will be fine too. He has more experience than people realize. My biggest fear is injury to either of those two. I don't want to see Tweedy take the pitch again this season. I suppose that Eboue could play LB, and you could even see Song at CB, if needed.

It will all work out. All the chances that these kids have gotten to play are going to show through this season.

I like this formation. It's probably the most well balanced one so far.

    ------------Ade - Dudu-----------
    Arshavin - Denilson - Cesc - Eboue
    --Gibbs - Djourou - Kolo - Sagna--
    -------------Fanianski-------------

I'd say there's only two question marks in this XI and that's Gibbs and Fabianski, but only because they're unproven...however, Gibbs has shown enough in the chances hes been given to ease my worries and I was very impressed with the way Fabianksi came in a high pressure situation on Tuesday and handled himself very well. I think he'll be alright.

Wouldn't mind seeing this formation but I'd don't think Eboue should start over both Nasri and Theo. I'd like to see the absolute best midfield possible which at this point i think is Arshavin-Denilson-Cesc-Nasri. Hopefully Eduardo and Van Perise are fit for this one. If not give the nod to Bendtner, he should get plenty of chances with this midfield and some of his shots have to go in at some point.

Any early word on streams would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to roll out of bed at 8:45, brush teeth, get a stream running and be watching on the laptop by 9:00am.

I almost forget that if Dudu starts tomorrow, it will be his very first appearance in EPL this season.

dudu on the left and rvp on the right = balance in terms of no cutting edge out there

dudu works best off other strikers and a 4 4 2 should be played if he plays

I'm with you mate......It's on FSC, which is good...
...means that I can watch it, at home, in the evening.

Now, the trick is, when do I tell the wife that 'dinner & netflix',
has been cancelled this Saturday...without enduring another painful 12 hours.

Given that this is Wigan, perhaps this line up might be worth an experiment?

    ---------------Ade ------------
    --------------Cesc--------------
Arshavin -- Nasri --Denilson -- Walcott
    --Gibbs - Djourou - Kolo - Sagna--
    -------------Fabianski-------------

    --
Gives Nasri the license to roam in the CM position, and he and Cesc can fluidly interchange positions up and down the spine..

Nope, i still think we could be prone to "losing to shit clubs we should smash" syndrome, and Wigan, despite their effort at Everton, have been ok of late and are not to be underrated.

Well...time to log off until FSC shows the match. It's on at 6:00pm here, which is not a bad time of day to watch a match, considering some of the start times I get.
And, oh yea, the Mrs. said that beer, chips, and Arsenal is OK, instead of dinner and a movie, this Saturday night.:D

    COME ON YOU GUNNERS !
