A lot of teams would be very decent with a prime van Persie.

A prime RVP is the only reason Fergie won his last title.

Rvp would suit most teams but I don’t think he works as well on this one due to a lack of pressing and pace to move from a deeper position

laca is almost mandzukic lite (Bayern 2013) in the way he brings others in without scoring often

He has. But I don't recall there being such a massive difference within a match before. He wasn't exactly a non-factor on the right, but he wasn't anything like the disruptive force he became late in the match after shifting over.

A lot goes into that, of course. But man oh man, was he a handful all of a sudden.

Was Wolve's right (our left) the spot that Semedo was in and had to be subbed off? If so, maybe Saka made a big impact because the sub for Semedo couldn't deal with his pace? But I agree with others that Saka is a handful no matter what side he plays on.

I think that was definitely a factor. I was just greatly encouraged because I honestly only thought of Saka on the right and looked at any appearances on the left as either an experiment or a fluke.

He was an utter nightmare the last 15 minutes. Way too much to handle. I was psyched.

    that reminds me . . .

i know it's "convention" to kick the ball out when a player is "down" and wolves fans/players were bitching and moaning about us playing on. that pissed me off. like, look, if we had the ball when semedo went down, i can accept it to an extent. but wolves had the damn ball and his own teammate though, "hey, i'll make a play". if your own damn teammate is playing on, why do you expect the opposition to suddenly stop?!?!?!?!? i hate that bullshit.
