Not sure: I’d have to look it up, but I’m drunk right now. During the broadcast they said his first (the penalty) was his 50th Arsenal goal, so I assumed they were talking all comps.
No. As good as today was, it's not even the best Arsenal performance in the last ten days. The 7-0 at home to Everton from many years ago was the best, IMO. Those were some truly absurd goals.
Early on some bad giveaways, then became a bit conservative with passing when better options were there, started to take more "safe" risks after the first or second goal. By the end he was making runs on the ball. He wasn't poor by any metric, he just needs game time which depending on Tomi and Zinny he probably gets a bit more of in the next few weeks. Not even close. Very happy we took our chances and finally put a poor team to the sword, but this game was more about how bad WHU were.
So IOW your original comment about Kiwior starting shaky was based more on his offense than his defense? My question was more about how he held up defensively. But I guess that shows how I gauge defenders in general, i.e. defending is job one.
More on his defense earlier, I didn't really care about how he played offensively because theres no point comparing him to Tomi or Zinny who are significantly better offensive players. It was more about decision making and positioning.
He only misplaced three passes all day, but I think I know the one in our own half early on that you're probably referring to. I thought he settled in pretty quickly though and did very well against Kudus.

I think Transfermarkt counts drawing the foul that leads to a penalty that someone else scores as an assist, so that's probably the difference. Edit: Yeah, see the second Arsenal goal in this match from 2021.
As an aside, I wish peak ozil had got to play with Martin O and Rice instead of ... <checks notes> aaron ramsey
Ramsey was good and would be perfect in our current system another player wasted by wenger forcing him into a holding role he should’ve been a ten or a modern 8
They had this exact discussion on the Arsecast this morning---about the Transfermarkt stat discrepancy/bolstering.
From what little I could see & tell, that was the impression I got. And it seemed to work pretty nicely. And it's what prompted my comment about maybe we're better without Jesus? So, if I were coach, I'd be thinking "hmm, maybe Havertz at L8 and Trossard at False 9 is something I should try more, maybe next game in fact?"
We gave up one shot on goal and only three shots yesterday. Everton had 7 shots and 3 shots on goal that day. I know nostalgia and nice goals and all, but I really think yesterday was the best and most dominant we've been.
There was a 10 minute spell after halftime where Liverpool were in top of us. It was maybe Two minutes in the first half in this match.

It also makes you wonder if Ode drops in to that space instinctively so Arteta having White take that space forces Ode to push further up into the space we want him in, or the "fun zone" as that clip puts it.
