    Awful all around play there.

    Too casual since the 3rd.

True. But it wasn’t a zipper. What was the difference in the new coat??

OK don’t expect a 4-2 win at this point. Holding comes on for Odegaard. Gonna be a nervous five minutes!

it was xhaka's man - he looks gassed, too - that he couldn't keep up with but white had the chance to clear and missed.

    FT WAT 2-3 ARS

    Job done. 3 points. A win’s a win.

Any more pragmatic clichés you want to add?

And 4th place is rightfully ours. :D

    FT: 2-3

Nervy, sloppy ending. Arsenal need to work on putting teams away. But a win is a win. Onward and upward.

Xhaka went the glory 40y pass across the pitch when he could have played a safe ball. Instead turns it over and puts everyone on the back foot. White didn't cover himself in glory, but if Xhaka doesn't do a Xhaka then none of it happens.

Good win. A bit sloppy at times, especially toward the end. And we do miss Tomi. But we got it done.

Now for City to put ManU to the sword and we're really in business.

holy crap, did we look bad the minute pepe replaced martinelli and saka was moved to the left. that shot aside, even worse when nketiah replaced lacazette.

    pepe looked lost out there.

Not solid enough at the end, but we got hosed on the Laca penalty shout. Really should have been 4-1 there.

3 points, sloppily won, but 3 points. Onward and upward.

Love the dub but gotta say it feels like goal difference may come into play at the end of the season and giving up that second goal was sub-optimal.

Sadly ballboys seem to be paid/instructed to slow down the ball availability to the opponent.

Remember when Chelsea fans 3 games in were making relegation jokes at us? Well if we win the game in hand we have on them, we will be 2 points behind them.

    Delightful.

Definitely a bit sloppy the last 20 minutes. And I think it's a positive that this is what Arteta focused on in his post-match presser, explaining that we need to control these types of situations better.

As for the ballboy thing, sure enough there's a clip going around of some Sky commenter complaining that our third goal was unfair.. See, this type of shit drives me crazy. The commentators say all Arsenal supporters are paranoid/delusional whatever when we complain that we don't get calls and are more harshly punished for infractions than other teams, but then they throw crap like this out there as some sort of legit talking point.

I haven't believed for one second this campaign that this team would get qualify for the Champions League. This mainly is because I did not believe that a young team could be this consistent, but I am starting to believe.

If Arteta pulls this off, he deserves praise, and I will take back all that I have said that questioned his readiness to coach at this level.
