Soton clearly playing the "jump on anyone who has the ball" game that has worked for other teams.

That's why I'm glad to see jack out there. He's the most likely to ride a challenge and make something happen.

Or pick up another knock. As he seems to be our #1 target for such.

OHHH!!! Who did Jack not get that one in????

Somebody's gotta get on that cross. Ozil and somebody looking at each other. Want to score dammit!! (edit - replay showed neither him or Giroud was really in position to get there)

Southampton is getting away with a lot of upper body/shoulder/arm physicality. Bad for us.

Giroud not looking good. I don't think he'll make it through the game.

Yeah, if Ozil was more a striker he'd probably have been heading for that rebound and we'd be 1-0. Oh well. So far so good.

    I don't know. He exaggerates injuries a lot. I'm a little optimistic.

that would have been a great goal from ramsey if it were another couple of inches to the right.

Already hit the woodwork twice in less than 20 minutes, could be a frustrating day if this continues.

We need Ozil to play this well. He's been a bit off the last few weeks.

    Jackie down. As predicted.

Also, call a ********ing foul. this is so ********ing English it's disgusting. A shoulder to the chin isn't a tackle.

Good goal. Not calling fouls goes both ways finally.
