Koscielny earned himself a little more rest time during the break, by picking up a stupid red card against Ukraine. :sneaky:

There's your mistake. Most of these (https://www.youtube.com/user/arsenalfanstv) seem to think we can win it, and they're level-headed as well.

This will be a very tough match right after the break and against a very good side. If we have either of Podolski or Walcott back we will be fine though, width and pace in the final third more than anything else I think is what has been lacking.

Remember that we were all pissed at Walcott for flubbing two easy chances put thru to him by Ozil before he got hurt.

If anything it'll at least put the idea of something coming from the wing, so they can't completely cheat to the middle.

This is also not the norm for Theo. He's usually a pretty decent finisher.

Ugh...this is the last interlull for a while right?!

Looks like Clattenburg is the ref and Mesut got sent home to rest. Any other news? Is Theo back?

It'd be nice to see Theo come on for 20-30mins against Southampton as well as Marseille to get his form back.

No we should start Theo. Start all guns blazing. I don't want to see Ramsey/Wilsh on the wings again. We need to start well or risk losing to Southampton or drawing. They are not afraid of big teams so we need to steam them early enough. But knowing AWs reactory coaching he will do the latter.

I'd be very surprised to see Theo start, assuming he is available. Not after being out for so long.

I wouldn't be surprised depending on how well he's looked in training. He was supposed to be fit for the united game but I think they rested him to be safe so I think he might start and get subbed off early if need be.

It would be nice to have a proper winger to complement Ozil. Cazorla is so much better through the middle anyway. Giroud will need a rest at some point. Playing Theo up front is another option. Heck, throw in Ramsey as a false nine.

Giroud not playing today which is great. We need him rested. I wonder if Walcott is fit or not. Anyway.. Is Ramsey really injured?

Great to hear some of our key players are getting rests today: Ozil, Giroud, Koz, Ramsey? ...

I wonder if Wenger made that happen with some diplomatic phone calls.

I think we should start Gnabry and bring on Theo later. Also read that Ox suffered a setback has this been confirmed??

From my knowledge nothing official has come out from Arsenal.com/Wenger. Gnabry did well against United, I wouldn't mind he start over Theo but honestly Theo must play at least 25 imo.

So evidently Walcott is available and Poldi has started regular training. I cannot wait for Saturday damn this inter lull.

Sadly, I'm going to miss this game. Will be in Dallas to watch my nephew play a doubles tournament.

don't be silly. all club comment on arsenal injuries start with a 3:
    "3 days", "3 weeks", "3 months"....or in diaby's case "3 years".....

He has been out for a while, but even with the mollycoddling this club does, at most, it'll be two weeks before he can play 45 minutes.
