I guess it depends on the function of your attackers and if you want your fullbacks to help narrow or bomb on the problem is it’s easy to find a mobile destroyer but hard to find one that can pass well and run with the ball etc
I haven’t watched enough of him to know via eye test but he has played more progressive passes for more distance than Xhaka this season
Yeah but if u watch the guy he’s more of a destroyer spurs are very counter attacking by and he wins the ball well but he wouldn’t work for us imo
but is that function of role or player? i have seen graphics/numbers a few times suggesting that his numbers were drastically different the previous year.
