Game is different now from before. More stretched. Higher tempo both ways.

Tomiyasu about to come on. For White or Tierney??

Saka is so much better than everyone else on the field right now.

provided a shield and an outlet for the defense. most passes were pinged back to the passers but a few where he actually went to the middle. it would have worked better with xhaka at the 8 but it got the job done.

    basically, a mo day.

72' Tomi on for White. Odegaard on for Vieira.

IDK - he'd be fine at Everton.

Nelson seems so much more interesting on the left than on the right. I feel like he should pair very well with Tierney.

Pretty sure we haven't had an official SOG in 2T. While we've allowed them to have at least 2. Not good.

Last season's 16th-place finisher, currently in 12th. Yeah, I agree. :ROFLMAO:

I really don't like this Aliti guy. OK he got a little bit of Saka's boot glancing off his chin but the scream was from someone who had just lost a limb. This was not his first shenanigans.

he is. mcnicholas keeps saying he's just as good on the right but i just don't see it. he's a solid inverted left-winger and at best a reasonable fill-in on right right.

i agree with you. his style would mesh much better with tierney than martinelli since his game isn't as predicated on running at defenders.

80' Another shot by Zurich which was just inches off the top left corner. Oh boy, this is that Arsenal we've known and loved so much in recent years.

it'd be one thing if you were just made of glass but this whole ass team have also been fouling and kicking our players with abandon. THAT part pisses me off.

because nelson didn't writhe on the ground screaming his head off and tried to play the ball instead. same as when their dude was just hugging saka but they got a throw in.

    i hate stupid referees.

While the P+ stream dies again (this time with Error 3002), I switch back to TUDN... only to see Tomiyasu on the ground getting treatment. Uh oh! He's shaking his head and he's off!!

93' and Eddie with a nearly open header in front of goal. A big leap but the ball was just an inch or two too high.
