FT ARS 4-0 EVE After the first 20-30 mins where our opponent looked the better team, and the more likely to have scored... We showed patience, finally got control of the game, our confidence grew and... A moment of sheer impetuous brilliance from star-boy Bukayo turned the game and... We never looked back! Played the rest of the game in their half it seemed, kept a clean sheet... Perfect result
Just flicked over to see Spurs getting turned over by Sheffield United 1-0 in the 86th What a great start to the day!
Cara Banks said earlier that 60 points after 25 games is as fast as we've ever done it. We tied a previous record. Impressive, formidable.
Great response from the boys. Such a controlled match. Can't ask for more. Martinelli getting his groove back. Saka being Saka. Clean sheet. ESR sighting. And a nice hurdle for Dyche and his low block football to climb after this. Losing to him was good for us. We refreshed and came back stronger. Kudos Mikel and Edu. Jorginho and Trossard second choices but epl proven. They are ideal for the epl charge since they're used to the pace of epl and familiar with the opposition we play plus their styles. I'm happy.
You're right! I missed that in real time. Just rewinded to see it. Was actually a triple save. Another great element of a great victory.
Was watching the first half since I missed it and it seems like as soon as their coverage ended NBC nuked the whole thing of their website. What a clusterfcuk NBC coverage is, I hate it so goddamn much
I hear you. That's not the only thing they seemed to fvck up today. But TBH it's not just NBC who continues to fumble their roll out of streaming. It's still a nascent industry and that shows. But I woulda hoped that after a few years most of the issues would've been fixed. No such luck. We can only pray or hope that it's only gonna get better. But I wouldn't bet the ranch.
What's so wild about sports streaming is NBC had the best streaming product in like 2009 across the board--I remember how easy Sunday Night Football used to be to stream. It's the exact same product 15 years on from then. These companies just do not care.
Watched on replay on youtubeTV, that was fun. In years past, when playing clubs towards the bottom of the table that didn't have a lot to play for, it always felt like Arsenal would still get their best shot. It's like they looked at Arsenal as a "big club" but also as a beatable club, which was very motivating. It's so different now. Everton and Leicester seemed resigned to the fact that they weren't going to win. Leicester almost gave up on scoring and played for the draw, Everton seemed defeated the entire 2nd half. Just get thru 90 min against Arsenal and focus on getting points in the next fixture where you stand a much better chance.
The old NBC Sports app has the replay shortly after the end of any given match, even for ‘network’ games that Peacock has a 24 hour hold on.
Yeah. And Mike Oliver lived up to his reputation. Restraint in bookings. Perhaps in the long run, enabling the stellar game that Gabriel had.
While I was keen on Mudryk at a lower price, when his pricing blew out and I saw we were getting Trossard I was stoked. He has been really good for BHA and was on the out due to issues with the coach, not his form. So to come in and immediately play to a high level is great. I know a lot of us shit on Edu for sometimes dawdling on transfers, but he got Jorg and Trossard done and straight into the team.
Flew into London early this morning. Through the fog of jet lag, I look for the Bournemouth thread and don’t see one. KO in 18hrs. @Silva 5 got anything for us?
