Arsenal vs Everton Wed, March 1st 11:45am PT / 2:45pm ET / 19:45 GMT USA Network Here's our opportunity to cash in. Win this and we're 5 points clear with a favorable run on deck.
Aha a matchday thread! Let me reprise a post I made in the "wrong place" a few hours ago... "We have finally reached the moment where we use our game in hand. When teams have a game in hand for as many months as we did, it’s almost always mentioned when the relative table positions are discussed. But in <48 hrs that caveat will not be used about us anymore. So, perhaps as much as, or more so than, any other game this season… Everton. Weds. is. a. must. win."
I kind of like the opportunity to see the lads exact revenge so soon after the debacle at Goodison Park. Hopefully they'll be charged up for this one and see a chance to restore their mojo. C'mon you Gunners!
They're juiced up from two successive wins and I fully expect an energized performance tomorrow. Add in the home crowd and we're looking at a 2-0 victory.
Lets get a bit of a revenge job going on them after they got one over us at Everton. Lets absolutely pummel them. 4-0 to Arsenal. Trossard 1, Saka 2 and Martinelli 1.
Strangely I'm feeling quite optimistic about this match. I'm not even worrying about its magnitude, nor the chance that by writing this I risk jinxing the result. Bring it on!
Because I often look at matches like this as banana skins, or worry about how they just beat us 3-4 weeks ago, or how the pressure might get to our lads. But not today... I'm actually feeling a win coming. That's a little atypical for me. So they damn well better deliver!
Michael Oliver makes his first appearance at Emirates Stadium since Boxing Day when we beat West Ham United, having also overseen our wins against Liverpool and Chelsea this term. We have won 23 of the 50 games of ours he has refereed. In his 28 matches across all competitions this season, he has sent off just two players and awarded nine penalties - two of which have been in matches involving ourselves. Referee: Michael Oliver Assistant Referee 1: Stuart Burt Assistant Referee 2: Simon Bennett Fourth Official: David Coote VAR: Tony Harrington Assistant VAR: James Mainwaring

I guess the XI that most of us would wanna see today (excepting the need for rotation of course) so... COYG!!!! Oh, and Fvck Neal Maupay
Lacking foresight, I bought matinee theater tickets for today as a Christmas gift, so I will be anxiously checking Fotmob during intermission. Hope Trossard puts on as good a show as Jean Valjean today.
Hulu still on pause so I'll have to watch later on demand on Peacock. I'll also be avoiding the thread until I do get to watch that replay so I don't get spoiled. But anyways..... COYF'n'G!!!
NBC, BBC & Google all show Trossard in the center w/ Martinelli on the left. I'm not so sure. I could imagine Gabi playing a lot centrally. Also, based on last game, we should expect lots of fluid shifting of positions in that forward line. Fluidity FC.
