Lol. And the Odegaard miss was probably worth more xG than the shots that lead to the first 3 Arsenal goals.
Now I am not the type to take any credit for things I had no involvement with, but good on Arteta for using my first half comment at HT to motivate the team to win.
Or my wife who at HT said “you’re not wearing your arsenal gear today“. At which time I promptly donned my cap. The rest is history.
There was a dust up in the stands between club analysts, Villa's Victor Manas and Arsenal's Miguel Molina, after Emi's OG. According to espn, Manas was part of Unai's staff at Arsenal.
Or y’all are just a smidge jealous that you didn’t watch one of the most uplifting AFC matches in memory?
how many years have I wanted arsenal to buy a seasoned pro or two who could play football properly? So much better knowing we have him in the squad than some kid who had half a good season or shudder …. ninny
I was worried for him when he went to Villa in the first place - didn't see how he'd get too many games. Next move will be to Rangers up in Scotland . . . book it.
2009 - Arsenal have won a Premier League game they were losing at half-time outside of London for the first time since December 2009 (2-1 at Liverpool). Temperament. pic.twitter.com/xu4zvhrp8l— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) February 18, 2023
It's one thing for a keeper to hang out at the top of the box on a corner and try to draw a defender. But Emi made a nearside run to the edge of the 6 yard box when the ball was struck. He didn't have a prayer getting back, he must have assumed the whistle was gonna blow if they didn't score.
I'm guessing they are pretending to sit on the couch, legs crossed, having a cup of coffee (Martinelli, Saliba), reading a newspaper (Vieria), enjoying the game.
