Alright then. The business end of the season is here, and we're up 1-0 going into the second leg. Take care of business at home, enjoy an extra day off, and then FA Cup next Monday. No joking about from me, and hopefully none from the team.

    Notes for the game:
    1. Saka should not start in this game.
    2. Saka should not be on the bench for this game.
    3. Saka should not be in Islington for this game.

Play Maitland-Niles at left back. Have Auba on the bench. Maybe give Reiss Nelson some minutes.

    Place: Emirates
    Time: 2000 GMT/1500 EST
TV: BR Live and hopefully something else

    Oi, matchday fellas!

Here's to hoping the lads are feeling a sense of momentum and work to keep it going. Arsenal have a favorable schedule down the stretch so they need to feel capable of taking care of business.

Spread the pitch, keep the central defenders tight, and look to shoot often. Put the pressure on and take the game to them.

    Up the Gunners!

My $2.99 awaits to see it LIVE on B/R Live on my Roku, any idea on how I can watch Monday's FA Cup match as far as availability on demand without having to get a carrier, as I am not gonna have the 40-50 bucks/month just to watch Arsenal (well at least not until next season where I plan to get both Gold and Fubo once I DO have the money) Medicare is going to take out $140.00 out of my monthly $912 from my Social Security (I also make $13.50/hr 3 hours/night weeknights at Safeway) so I am not gonna have much to play with after that, but anyway....

    COYF'n'G!!!

Glad to hear you'll be able to watch us live again! (I'm watching today on Spanish Language TV... always fun, even if you no habla espanol)

As for the FA Cup, it should be on ESPN+ which is one of the more reasonably prices streaming services at $5/mo and you can turn it off before you month runs out, if you don't want to continue it... then turn it back on later. I have turned it on during EFL/FA Cup months and then turned it off for a block of months after that. As long as there isn't other stuff/sports I'm dying to watch on it, that can save a few $'s. Also, I don't think you can buy just a single match on ESPN+.

p.s. oh and more importantly and on-thread... COYG!!!!!

We've got to play Maitland Niles at both fullback positions on Monday.

AMN at RB, Tolaji Bola at LB. It's Portsmouth, anything should work.

The goal looked to be gaping for Xhaka from the top of the box, and he shoots it into the defender.

We talk about Auba's elite conversion rate of 25%... wonder what Granit's is? ;)

Pepe is kind of fast! Fouled just outside the box. Free kick at minute 20

Ay caramba! Pepe gets fouled on a great incisive run through the middle... 1yd more and it woulda been a PK.

Then he takes the FK and misses the goal by 2yds.

Good news is that he looks very dangerous, and the whole team looks very up for it, in the last 10 mins at least.

Pepe bends the Free kick over and it all comes to naught. He "bent" it, but not like Beckham

Generally our press is keeping them hemmed in pretty well. But once in a while they break through and then end up with some dangerous moments/shots.

OTOH, they're sitting pretty deep so when we get it back we get quite a bit of time in their half.

p.s. Mustafi has come up with several really good shot blocks so far.

Bellerin is caught out of position without any cover and their LW(?) goes down for an uncontested shot, but happily he seems to suck at doing that.

Meanwhile... the markets are losing their sh1t again. Into correction territory now.

Laca gets on the end of another one of Saka's beautiful crosses, bangs it into the roof of the net... only to be DISALLOWED for offside. 39'

Lacazette scores on a cross from Saka, but Saka was off on the initial pass. No goal. Replay shows he WAS off on a thru ball from Granit

My retirement fund is down 10% in the past week.

Good thing global warming is going to end civilization before I'll be old enough to retire.
