One or two more goals would be nice. I am still very nervous. Bournemouth gotta do their job.

Yup that's the one. And I thought it was 2nd yellow and an unfair send-off but couldn't recall precisely. Haven't rewatched that game in probably 20 years! :D

And then someone like Pires had to be sacrificed when we went down to 10?

As frustrating as that was, it was in the Round of 16 in 2011.

It's fine: it draws defenders out of position and lets Calafiori run into that space.

Aha. I remembered the incident and injustice, but forgot which exact game it was. Thanks for clearing that up.

They just said Pep is leaving the Shitty project in the summer. No big surprise. But if it's public knowledge, especially within the playing staff, it might just motivate them just a little bit more.

    So WIN TONIGHT is imperative.

p.s. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Mr. Guardiola.

Need to run up the score in the second half for goal difference.

Realistically, need three goals in the second half for goal difference to even possibly be in our favor.

He had the fewest touches of any Arsenal outfield player in the first half.

I would like to see what Martinelli can do against 36 year old Kyle Walker

54' Eze bounces it just over the bar. GK got a slight touch.

55' Eze again! From a fantastic pass by Kai and pre-pass by Leo. Shoulda been the clincher.

    COME ON!

The entire goal and it gets headed straight into the defender's back.

    This is killing me.

Been rumors for several weeks that they were negotiating with Maresca.
Curious if he is leaving because of (a) the 115 or (b) doesn't want any part of a rebuild. Don't see any other openings for him right now. Curious if we might see any other players looking to leave now that Pep is leaving.

Probably all of the above, plus (c) burnout, and last but not least (d) wanting to spend more time with his new main squeeze.

Yeah that was stupid. I was just relieved he was just embellishing an injustice rather than a real injury.

Edit: just after writing that he got a proper stomping on his foot. Now that coulda really hurt. But up he hops. As we need.
