Preserving my mental health by trying not to think about these games until a couple hours before.

What time is the game? 3pm EST right? I just got back into the office. Should be easy, Burnley stink. First goal is everything, we score first and quickly we can roll em out the door back to the North.

Good luck Arsenal! Make it happen... break the curse and finally lift that trophy again!

Its been a looooong time since I posted here. Exciting times, congrats to all the Arsenal fans who have stuck around during the tough periods. Still very nervous that we'll end up empty handed at the end of this season, but theres just as big of a chance that it'll be the opposite - so lets see!

Think we all are. Having to wait through the weekend makes it even harder.

When we finished the last game with Ode + Eze, I believe Mikel said something like he wanted to have two 10's. 10, 8, whatever. I'd really like to see us start this match like we finished the last one. And that was down to Ode in my book.

Kai up top is surprising for me, but Mikel is making surprising decision of late, and I'm here for it. BUT if it doesn't work, we should have zero hesitation in bringing Viktor in.

My local is closed on Mondays (my stupidity for not knowing this) so I'm home for this one. Not exactly an unfamiliar situation for me of course. So...

    COYG!!!!

I really wish the NBC presenters wouldn't say "Arsenal gonna win this."

In the words of a famous and dearly missed former poster, KILL!

I'd rather Drury than Champion, but I'm happy it's not a Yank. :p

Black armbands for whom? Manninger? I thought we did that already

Edit: Notice Burnley are rearing them also. So it's more general?

10' in and your basic 80% possession, 0 shots, kinda game.

As I write that we send 2 balls into the box. And the "shot" goes out towards the corner flag. :p

Leo with a bit of argybargy, sticking up for his mate Eze. All good as long as he keeps his cool for the most part.

13' first real shot! By Saka. Then corner... short... ends up on Kai's foot, and our 2nd real shot! Better.

23' Tricky linkup work by Kai & Ode there. Almost came off. We don't see Viktor do that kinda stuff.

Our urgency has picked up. Now let's see a little more quickness of passing. And we might just bag a friggin goal!

28' "Delayed yellow" for Hanibal. Technically for time wasting but perhaps a make-up for that bad tackle on Gabby.
