So White gets clipped during the corner, no penalty, Xhaka knocks the ball out of the keepers hand, Martinelli gets the card.

Now apparently VAR could get involved and have the card overturned, yet they didn't.

    Horrendous.

There's enough pace on the ball that unless turner decides right when it is hit that he is coming for it, he wouldn't have made it

He did decide to come for it, then hesitated.

This Sporting goalkeeper is a ********ing baby.

No contact on the keeper, I assume there is an invisible sniper in the stands.

Poor half, especially from the left side. Xhaka, Zinchenko, Kiwior, Turner, all need to step up their play in the second half.

I'd feel better if I'd seen more of our bench options play ... ever, in some cases.

Because we have no depth. ESR isn't fit enough to start, and the other wing options are ???, ???, and ???.

Because they only have three completely healthy forwards. ESR will come on at some point, but he’s not ready to go 90.

I'd have started ???. He has done more than ??? in training and deserves the chance. As for ???, well I haven't been a fan since day 1.

Are away goals still a ********ing thing? I have no idea what UEFA do anymore besides make massive cunts of themselves and occasionally bring in good or bad rules.

My first impression if Kiwior wasn’t exactly what I woulda liked. He looked scared, confused and gave up challenging on their goal. Hello?

If theres one thing I like about Vieira, he isn't afraid to shoot and when he misses they aren't far off.

Looks very very nervous. Is this his first appearance for us, I don't recall him coming off the bench at any time.

I'd love to see Nelson take it to the endline once or twice. He's done the same dance, cut right, cross/pass to Xhaka like 5 times already this half.

Kiwior let that get past him way too easily. Needs a loan spell.

Don't really care about this shit competition anyway. Only worth it if you can't make top 4, and need another route into the CL.
