I just signed up for The Arsenal Membership and I found out a couple of interesting things:

    1. It is available to supporters around the world. You have to pay an extra GBP1.90 for shipping, but that's not too bad, especially compared to their S&H at the online store.

    2. This also allows you to buy match tickets after they go on sale to the Silver members and puts you on the waiting list to become a Silver member, which will allow you to buy individual match tickets online. This will also apply at the Grove.

    3. Membership costs GBP30 a year, so you have to renew to stay in. Not sure if they'll change the membership pack every year though.

Seems like a good deal to me, which is why I dropped the equivalent of $55 US for it. It will be especially worth it should I ever get on the Silver list for the Grove!

There was another thread about this earlier today. You could have also optioned to get on the Season Ticket list for another 15 Pounds. Not sure what your chances of going from red member to silver with the opening up of more seats at The Grove. There were probably a load of people who signed up today. Good Luck - Hope you get the opportunity to purchase tickets.

I too signed up for the Red Membership. I was tempted to add my name to the Season Ticket list as well, but then I thought about taking a spot away from a UK-based Gooner, and decided against it.

Yeah, I thought about going for the season ticket thing too, but I decided I'd take it one step at a time. I figure eventually getting on the silver list will be enough, as it will (hopefully) give me the chance to get tickets if I can plan well enough in advance without having to wait for roadtrips or having to beg for tickets from fellow UK-based Gooners.

Hmm.. I live in Malaysia... How much would the membership pack be for someone from the other side of the world? Oh yeah, would they accept Credit Cards from here (like Visa, MasterCard) and send me my stuff?

It costs an extra GBP1.90 if you live outside the UK, which isn't bad, especially when you live in Asia, like you and I do! And they do take Mastercard and Visa.
