We travel to the Middle Eastlands East Midlands for an evening kickoff, 7:30pm GMT/3:30pm EDT/9:30am HST. No confirmation as of yet, but surely this will be on NBCSN in the States.

I don't have the energy to search for photos...y'all will just have to use your imaginations. Need a win here, but I just can't say I have a lot of confidence given how insipid we've been of late and against this opposition on the road. Stranger things have happened, though, so fingers crossed.

    Up the Arsenal.

Nice one! Did you coin that or steal it? Only one slight problem... Manchester isn't really east midlands.
Absolutely we are on NBCSN. 100%

As for the likely outcome of this match, the bookies have Citeh as overwhelming favorites. Even after their devastating 2-0 loss at OT. Hmm... we'll have to just see.

But if we play as poorly as we did Saturday, surely we can't count on the kind of good fortune we had then? That said, Mikel surely has a ton of pride on the line, going back to Eastlands so... anything can happen? :cautious:

I know Manchester is technically Northwest, but it's close enough for the joke to work.

And yeah, I stole that from a t-shirt I saw way back when the Abu Dhabi group first bought them.

Is that like, Stoke? What’s it like being surrounded by orcs?

I think its time to drop Ozil, his intensity has plummeted, and he has been seemingly out of joint with the remaining attacks, holding the ball too long, delaying passes, I'm not sure why he keeps going wide right given that Pepe draws so many defenders to him.

This is where Torreira is missed. I don't have much confidence in a Xhaka, Ceballos, Ozil midfield. It will be interesting to see if Arteta shakes things up.

Perhaps take some solace that you are doing your bit to prop up Derby's overall IQ!

I guess this match will go forward as planned, with fans and all. But plenty of big leagues are going to matches played behind closed doors and some even suspended altogether.

I would also guess that this weekend's EPL fixtures are an active discussion by the authorities as to if/how they play them. So tomorrow's match may just be the last "normal" one for a while.

The whole Corona situation is so crazy, quick & fluid.

p.s. I heard that the chairman/owner of Nott.Forest has tested positive and is self-quarantining. He was at the Grove a few weeks ago, watching our Olympiakos match. And, perhaps related, several of the AFC staff have also tested positive.

Wow. I'm not an epidemiologist, but if some Arsenal players came in contact with the Olympiakos owner a week ago, doesn't that mean just about everyone at the club (plus West Ham) might have it as well?

You are correct sir! The handshakes, hugs, fist bumps, coughing, breathing the same air. Yup AFC is screwed. Wow talk about fast transmission.

Well, I guess I spoke a little too soon! :(

.Wonder who the specific players and staff were, who are now quarantined?

I guess that will come out with time, or else we’ll figure it out from training pictures or something.

I also think this weekend’s fixture/s are in some Jeopardy.

The article I read said the players should self isolate for 14 days. This should be from the time of exposure. So since the exposure was 13 days ago, they have one more day to self isolate. Then if testing shows them to be free of Coronavirus they should be good to go.

The amount of shithousery London migrants have for their home counties is epic.
Watch the West Ham match. Ozil isn't operating in the half space he is right on the wing, standing on top of Pepe, and then the clown Sokratis joins in too.

It was the same against Olympiacos, Ozil doesn't seem to be following the instructions. And, it's breaking down the attack on the right side, making the whole thing predictability left side dominant.

I understand why the game has been cancelled today on health and safety grounds, but am completely confused then why wolves are travelling to Greece to play olympiacos? Surely you would stay away where the source of our (arsenals) isolation has come from.

Very good point! I didn’t realize until just now that he was chairman/owner of both Forest and Olympiakos.

I did hear that NES was near furious that the match was going ahead.

How the outbreak is being dealt with is so variant because of the different jurisdictional bodies. You’re just not gonna get consistent decisions and actions across a continent let alone the globe.

Like criminally insane. Wolves should simply refuse.
