Silly season needs some comedy. The only criterion is that they must have been active during your viewing lifetime. Good news is that so many are from recent years that this should be fun for all supporters, old and new.

    Wright

    Vivas Squillaci Sylvester Santos

    Sidwell Jensen Denilson Arshavin

    Chamakh Jeffers

To be honest, it wasn't really Park that was playing bad for us since he barely got any opportunities. It's a little bit unfair to say he is the worst player to play for Arsenal right? Sqallaci x 11 sounds more right

the problem with "worst" teams is that you tend to only see the candidates for a short period, decide they suck and move on, usually wiping them from memory.
chris wreh has to be in mine. 46 appearances, 5 goals. he really stank.

I actually never saw Park play badly. He just never played. Squillaci was uniformly awful. Almunia cost us at least one league championship. However, the single worst game I every saw any player play was Eboue when he was subbed out after being subbed in.

Santos's match against ManUre this past year was pretty awful, too.

Yes. But to be fair, guys like Park, Sidwell, Inomoto etc never got many sniffs versus the two lazy bastards Arshavin and Denilson.

Not the worst, by any means. But one of the most comical Gunners to come around in a good long while. Picard agrees.

But he scored 2 very important goals for us, one against Wimbledon in the re arranged away fixture, and one against wolves in the fa cup semi final

From what I remember he also scored the only goal against Bolton that year, without those 3 goals we wouldnt have done the double that year

seriously, you're going to defend a 1 in 9 scoring record (for a striker!?) by comparing him to perry groves who had a better scoring rate AS A WINGER!? you cite a couple of wreh's VERY few goals yet you don't take into consideration that even a remotely competent striker would have scored twice as many.
you've lost the plot lanesra....either that or wreh has something on you.

I've said he scored 3 important goals ,match winning goals, most of his appearances were as a sub, If I have compared him to Perry groves, it was to say that groves was also shit, to accuse me of losing the plot YOU first have to know what the plot is! because at no point have i said he wasn't shit!

groves was pretty mediocre, i'll give you that, but he served a purpose, especially from the bench if memory serves right.
wreh, on the other hand, outright sucked with no obvious purpose on our team.

So scoring 3 VITAL match winning goals on the way to winning the double ammounts to No obvious purpose? surely that was his purpose, he also played in the same squad as Bergkamp. Anelka, & Wright so was never going to get a sniff, what i will say is that those more illustrious names failed to score in those matches! and if he hadn't we wouldnt have done the double that year

even if we'd played squillaci or silvestre up front it's more than likely they'd outperform wreh (and i'm genuinely not just saying that. as cb's neither are far off wreh's contributions for our club)
this is how bad chris wreh really was.

Wreh wasn't great but he comes nowhere near getting into the all time shit Arsenal team. No shit player would have scored such vital goals.

Sidwell? He never actually played, but neither did I and he was better than me
