Welp, Ramos is injured and Varane is injured. Who else is left? Are we playing Casemiro and Valverde as Centerbacks yet?
Yep. This is some next level balogna. https://www.espn.com/soccer/real-ma...ive-woe-as-spains-ramosfrances-varane-injured
These international outtings do nothing but damage us. Over and over again. Meanwhile Fifa is laughing to the bank.
https://www.managingmadrid.com/2020...io-ramos-contract-extension-2020-news-reports Never had any doubt about it, El Capitan
Sergio Ramos vs Real Madrid. I thought he was a fullback with Sevilla, but he was playig as a centerback. I won't spoil the game by giving too much information.
Sad part is that Ramos probably will not retire from NT anytime soon, he seems to love the Selección and the staff/players like him. Shit.
Just look at our record in the champions league without Ramos. Ridiculous. Absolute god send we beat Inter at home. Away is an absolute mountain
Sergio Ramos offers Conor McGregor a fight The Real Madrid captain joked he would fancy an Octagon showdown with UFC powerhouse Conor McGregor after a session in the Real Madrid gym. LOL Do we know when the Captain is back?
Real Madrid has lost 7 out of 9 games where Sergio Ramos is absent. He's not retiring until Qatar 2022 if that's still happening.
Sergio Ramos trained intensely during Real Madrid's Sunday session after their win away at Sevilla on Saturday. The captain is aiming to return in the Champions League against Borussia Monchengladbach, in what is a huge game for Los Blancos.
Dude is probably pumping pain killers into his body like nobodies business, hope this all goes well. Ramos has to be self sacrifice personified.
wow that was a trip! Crazy to see Dani Alves hugging him, or the ball whizzing past Zidane after Sergio took the FK. How times have changed
That pass from @SergioRamos under pressure. world class. https://t.co/hZOMIIs7wC— Fasih. (@_FasihKhawaja) December 10, 2020
Sergio Ramos could be leaving us in the summer. He's already negotiating with other clubs because we only want him to keep him for two years if he takes a salary cut. I understand Uncle Flo looking out for the bottom line, but given the importance of el Capitan, this is playing with fire. https://www.managingmadrid.com/2021...os-real-madrid-rumors-2021-extension-contract David Alaba isn't Sergio Ramos. He's not even close. Idk why they think getting rid of a legend only to overpay for another player is a good idea. CR7 situation all over again. We got rid of him to reinvest in a massively injury prone Belgian. Losing Ramos like this is a nightmare scenario, especially for team's stability. We are heavily Ramos dependent right now just like we were Cristiano dependent. Only we're going from bad to worse if we let him go for free in the summer.
We need to move on from Ramos one day or another. I don't see him playing with consistent WC level beyond 2 years. It won't be easy, but it's inevitable.
It’s inevitable that this episode will also be long drawn out, but I think there will end up being some compromise by both parties over a 2 year deal.
At almost 35 I would say he hasn't started declining yet. He might be already a little bit slower, but he is still fast enough. He is taking care of his body like Ronaldo and also for defenders pace is not that important. I can't see Militao or Varane being better than him in the next two years. I prefer him to be in the team for that period even he is mostly warming the bench at 38. I just don't want to see our team next season without our leader...
The club is being reasonable. It would be silly to sign him for three years at 35 years old. In fact it's proabably a gamble extending him another two. They're being too greedy here.
