But having heard many of them expresses their opinions on his abilities when compared to other strikers around its obvious they're only going by hear-say

Cassano is also a problem child....yet he gets along well with Capello...so why can't Ronie....maybe Capello has a secret strategy for handling problem children

Capello has a long interview at AS, he said that if Ronaldo stays, he will play alongside Ruud. Ruud is not a replacement, he's a new striking partner

And Capello reiterated, if ronaldo stays, he will have a place on the team.

I hope Ronaldo repays Capello's confidence in him with a great season. it won't make the fanboys go away, but I would rather the fanboys here have a reason to praise Ronaldo rather than praising him just because he is Ronaldo. The latter is no good for us.

I have to admit, I've criticized Ronaldo alot during last season, I've called him names, made fun of him. But I hope he proves me wrong this season (if he stays). This is a time where i'll be pleased if Ronaldo proves all my criticisms wrong. Having a FIT Ronaldo and RvN upfront is a deadly combination.
