Exactly, that's why I was saying if they win. Nothing assures they will, Chile is a tough team.

    Anyway, David Villa scores..

If Spain hold this 1-0 lead they'll top the group.

Well, to be fair they don't have it thaaaat easy: they are likely to clash with Netherlands in Quarterfinals and, depending on today's results, maybe Spain in Round of Sixteen.

Great. Now Brazil can get to the final by beating Switzerland, Slovakia and South Korea.

Considering that they also have FIFA and the referees in their pocket, I think we can already etch their names on this World Cup.

:( 2-0 for Spain and a red card for Chile!

Chile better get on it! If Switzerland scores vs. Honduras and this result remains the same, they will be eliminated from the cup despite their six points! Incredible and unfortunate.

Very harsh second yellow on Astrada aided by the fact that Torres made the most of it. I expected this from a Bielsa team at some point. All those yellows in this half and not one to Spain?

If only Chile knew how to put away those early chances.

It's obvious that FIFA wants Brazil to reach the final. This is ********ing disgraceful. Not to mention that the next FIFA president will most likely be Brazilian come the next WC.

wow this is insanity. brazil earlier, and now spain.

we are better than both of these teams, but with these refs, nothing is certain.

we ruined FIFA's plan in 1990 and paid the price in the Final, but as long as we can get there i will consider it a moral victory

All they need to do is get past the Netherlands in the quarters. After that they will face a sup-par team: Uruguay, South Korea, U.S. or Ghana.

Argentina on the othr hand has Mexico then England or Germany followed by Portugal or Spain. WTF!!
