Well yea, if there's a time to achieve even more silverware, its certainly within these next few years.

However, I just dont get the all gloomy vibes posts . I can understand if let say we lost to Colombia in that final, or losing to 2-0 to Brazil, but we won the Copa, conceiding just one goal and we qualified with 4 games in spare, we thrashed Brazil 4-1. We only dropped points after we qualified and its only 1-1 draw and 1-0 lost from gift penalty.

I do agree with Tagliafico's comment (maybe he's lurking on this board afterall), we're definetely far from our best form at the moment but after thrashing Brazil and qualified, I just cant see the players continuously playing at their max level when there's nothing at stake.

Get this... Suriname and Curacao(Mind you, we whipped them 7-0 without even trying) can legitimately make the next Mundial. They both have away games, Suriname will be away to an eliminated Guatemala and Curacao away to Jamaica who are a point behind them. But even then, one of these can still make it through the inter-confederation playoffs.

Who is ready to watch Cape Verde and Curacao play it out next summer at the parking lot of Dave and Busters in front of 17 people?

    Good grief.

Cape Verde are a pretty decent side. Their group in CAF was no walkover. They beat Cameroon and Angola home & away

With Italy in the play offs, I'm pretty sure they will do everything that they can to naturalize Soule and other Argentine people lol

He’s already shot them down twice. He’s not gonna play for them. Other players? I wouldn’t be shocked.

Man, if Italy miss out again? Wow… It seems like somebody must’ve sold their soul to the devil from 06. Failed to get out of the group in 10 and 14, failed to qualify in 18&22. Sure, they got a Euro in 21… but they’ve been dreadful. I think from all of the teams they have won the Mundial; they are currently dead last in terms of quality and a future. A damn shame.

Let me tell you right now. Norway are an absolute force. Things could change but I do not think many teams want to run into them. They have size, speed and quality.

Yeah I'll be interested to see if Norway can take advantage of this golden generation and make a decent run, not just stay for a quick cup of coffee.

As a Norwegian, these are exciting times for sure. That 2nd half today is the best I've seen us play, especially considering the history of the opponent/stadium (even though we were 99,99% qualified before it kicked off). Apart from our goalkeeper, I think the team looks very good right now. Nusa at left wing has been a revelation since he made his debut and seems to thrive when playing for the national team. Also, Ødegaard is injured and didn't play today. Still we didn't miss him at all.

Except if we're beating those teams that Norway beat in their group, anyone would claim we havent face any real test.

It’s okay to give teams some credit time to time.

They have a quality side, at least on paper.

Fair play to Norway, they hadn't qualified for a world cup since '98.

They qualified scoring a ton of goals and having lots of fun. Haaland is a beast, looks like he was created by Vicktor Frankenstein :D:D

Let's see if Germany can avenge that 2-0 loss to Slovakia earlier and book their ticket, or end up in the playoff.

Yeah not much drama. Was hoping for a more interesting match. Hopefully Scotland vs. Denmark tomorrow isn't a bust.

I have expectations and I don’t blindly cheer for them when they are playing mediocrely. I see flaws and as do many people.

As for calling Morocco; France Lite, yeah, I did call them that and it’s true. They poach players from other countries. But this does not mean they have not played good football over the last few years.

Norway is a good side. And if they end up finishing third like Belgium did in 2018, I think most Norwegians will take it if you offered it to them.

This looks like a bunch of friends getting together at an asado, and you’ve got that one drunk friend trying to do stupid shit with the ball, and he ends up knocking over a bunch of drinks by doing a move like this. :ROFLMAO:
