Its even worse... They have Karol G singing their anthem... From all the singers, Colombia could only muster-up Karol G...

    Yikes!

Marciniak was on the four refs for the Final. Not bad, a Final for the Mundial and a Euro.

I’m by no means a Euro historian, so I hadn’t realized England never won the Euros.. a literal 100% failure rate.

Only one international title (one they were by no means going to lose) in their cabinets, yet they walk around like they’re the big dogs of football.. they’re essentially the Racing of international football

While its not consider as major trophy, its still going to be exciting. Imagine if its England vs Colombia...

Lots of new faces should have been introduced by then.

    Looks like thug.

We'll see if they'd get some good punishment. It should be no crowd for at least next few matches for them.

Imagine successfully enters the stadium through the vent only to see Lautaro's hitting the net.

I don't know where this game will be played, if it's at Wembley I'm going, no matter how much a ticket costs. Just don't tell the other half :D

Would have been great if Southgate was still the England manager as the England squad has a lot of potential. If they get a competent coach, England can be a genuine favorite for the World Cup

Nah, mate, they won't be a favourite for the world cup. There media / pundits / fans are delusional, they think they have a divine right to win the makor trophies and that every English player is the greatest player in his position of all time. But they have won 1 trophy in their entire history and that was only because that tournament was played at home.

I agree with mostly of what you said that the media/pundits/fans are delusional and overvalue their players, but I do rate the player pool that they have. A competent coach could string these group of players together and be competitive.

If someone like Klopp is the manager then you never know

I unironically think that Pekerman is closer to the kind of manager the USMNT needs. A long-term rebuild around youth.

Yeah I think Pekerman is too old and past it at this point but it's the right idea. Pochettino did manage to get more out of youth accumulated at Chelsea than predecessors, but doubt he's interested in US. But a mixture of development and some reality check through tough love. Also, they're gonna need to grind out a result, probably at least two in the knockout stage in order to really make some noise and get attention at their home world cup (I say two because there's gonna be a round of 32 now), and we know how Pekerman is at those..

The English Football Association is inviting applications to succeed Gareth Southgate as head coach of the men's national team.
