Too hard to get clean shots in. Mostly shoving. They need to train on a phalanx formation for the post match fight.
This has to be a joke... The Colombia fan who punched Darwin Nunez is a priest 🤣🙈👊 pic.twitter.com/X0aZl33yJD— Football Fights (@footbalIfights) July 12, 2024 Reminds me of this scene in Kingpin.
Your message duly recieved all the Reps it deserved but having former players in these positions doesn't necessarily translate to decisions made for the betterment of the game. Look at Michel Platini. Beautiful player but when he joined FIFA he became as corrupt as the rest of them. But I would like to take my chances nonetheless.
Yea, we definetely gets an easier parh right? Uruguay seems hasnt recover physically from previous game though. Looks so slow, somebody clearly could have blocked that follow up tap in.
Considering the fact that Aphonso Davies has only played less than a half in this match, Uruguay starting all their non-injured/suspended starters and this being Luis Suarez's probable last match, I'm surprised Uruguay isn't dominating much more. Maybe Canada is not an easy opponent as people thought.
Canada insisted to stretch the match despite being in the lead. Uruguay's GK is one of the worst here but Canada PK shooters as seen against Venezuela are weak.
Well, that was entertaining game to say the least. The ref somehow gifted Uruguay when they stopped Canada chance for clear counter, just because the ball hits the ref body.
You know, I am kinda surprised why there is third place game for the Euros. They already expanded the tournament from 16 to 24 a couple tournaments back. I don't see how another game won't be so bad in terms of making extra money.
Commentators here now saying same thing. Canada not professional enough to see the match out. Should have reeled it in and finish it up with strong Defence.
90% players who does that silly stutter ended up failing their kick. The two Brazillians failed takers did that aswell.
