This is just going to help Brazil… the players should (and probably will) use this as fuel to prove both their skill and character

Its not just down to Brazil themselves , but that 7-1 lost to Germany (coupled with 3-0 lost to Netherlands) boost the confidence of every teams that face them. Usually you could see teams that face Brazil tend to folded and couldnt play their best football, now a non powerhouse sides believes they could upset them.

Remember that Diego has been saying similar stuff to Argentina team solely because the fact that he got fired unceremoniously and he always hates AFA. Yet, you still see him supporting us like crazy from the stand. "Scaloni cant even direct traffic" , one of his last words.

Poor from the manager. They were getting bypassed in midfield. You cannot afford to sit so deep and give the opposition a stroll and then not even manage to shackle the passers into the final third. He needed to be bold go to two upfront man to man in midfield. Scotland are very poor so don't read all that much into this.

Croatia had their chances and didn't take them. Spain are very gettable at the back.

I miss the old Euro format, where you had 16 teams and most of the groups were Group of Deaths. Now? There are so many ordinary games.

    Denmark vs Slovenia…

But... boring teams like Russia, Denmark and Greece has won Euro, something that England hasnt

The next WC will have even more meaningless matches.

The Euros so far have been very entertaining, until of course England turn up! Musiala and Lamina are ballers.

First real upset of the Euro, Slovakia over Belgium 1-0. Sure looks like the end of the road for the latter's golden generation.

Aside from E.Hazard and de Bruyne they were overly hyped up. Given the farce the groups are they should still qualify. Again expanding the size of the tournament merely dilutes it and makes qualification a joke. All about money as usual. Ceferin is as bad as Infantino in many respects.

Awful game between Austria and France. Neither team has looked good.
And as soon as I say that, Austria nearly scored.

OG for Austria after a bad giveaway…

If there's one thing that makes FIFA ranking absolutely meaningless, that would be Belgium being no.1 for years.

Licha did it just few days ago.

The best highlight was Mbappe doing the best Higuain impression ever.

Not that I care a great deal or anything but I flipped the channel to have Turkey and GA in the background and the game is not being aired. FOX apparently will have 5 games or so that will behind a paywall. Comical stuff from these companies.

Georgia wasted two glorious chances. Czechia undone by an own goal and a late goal now. Portugal are awful. Cristina non existent.

As he has been in knockout stage across five WC.

Euro has too many mickey mouse footballing countries. Not a single upset so far other than Belgium lost, but thats not really an upset either.

Russia always plays exciting football. Kind of like Korea.
