This isn't twitter. Most of us are Argentine, born in Argentina or have Argentine ancestory/parentage. Rattlehead has been with us for a while. We don't care if he's not argentine, he likes the team, so he's one of us.

This had to be edited, mexican media is one of the worst in the world overhyping their NT, but this is impossible

 

Granted the Mexican media is absolutely awful, however, even this time they are roasting the team.

The Mexican media always try to stir up some rivalry. For the most part I think their fan base has learned their lesson to keep their mouths shut, so they’re not as bad as they once were. We have taken them out in the 05 Confederations Cup, 06 Mundial, 07 CA, 2010
and 2022 World Cup’s.

I think they got a boost of confidence when they defeated us in the group stages in 04 and we took them to penalties in dying minutes in 05 for the Confederation’s Cup. Then they thought they could really get the best of us sooner or later.

All in all, I believe their only competitive win over us was in that 04 CA. They may have gotten some wins in friendlies way back in the day but who knows.

There was once a time they had the gull to say that they were the third best team in the Americas. They wouldn’t have had a difficult time qualifying for the World Cup in they played in Conmebol. They’ve come back to earth since then and now the Yanquis have take over the Kings of Delusion.

 

Argentina also beat Mexico in first WC. In last 3 decades Mexico beat Argentina once, losing 13 times.

 

I'd be satisfied with 5-0 win like the last time we faced them.

 

I live in England and the circle of hell has started, all, or the vast majority, are trotting out the 'we have / should / it is our right to win the euros', it's going to be a tought for weeks

It was a really clever set play. Everyone lining up in front of Brazil's wall and then taking off to screen the keeper's vision from his shot. Still, defensively it's closer to another 5-1 game than an upset, lol

 

I will say it's crazy how much space Brazil are leaving the US and how often they seem to be surprised at being dribbled at and right past.
