I have to say bhoys im very proud of the way we are tanking the official rangers thread (Why is that official and mine had to become all-new mods???)
Talk about art imitating life eh, they started late and just cant keep up :D
    Keep up the good work!

You didn't name it the All-New, All-Celtic Thread?

It's just that idiot JRedknapp posting. He can't spell (or tell time for that matter), constantly makes errors, and doesn't even bother to read the articles he posts. :D

Here's what he has to say:
    "NO Celtic supporters."

Nope I called it the official celtic thread and when youre thread got spliced in(which they eventually spliced out again to celtic results blah blah) they changed the name.

God! When I saw the post I thought: "Oh the those f***ing pansy Swiss overreacting to the Scottish threat." Only to see its the wee Geordies being protected from the evil Basel Neo-Nazis!

Peaceful neutral Switzerland. I bet they beg your pardon before bashing your skull in. :D Puir bastards. I can just see them coming across some band of apparently mild-mannered Celtic supporters and trying to start trouble. Bwahaha!

It would make a fine Saturday Night Live sketch (as if anyone in the USA would get it). What passes for sketch comedy programming in the UK these days?

As far as the thread titles go, I was just trying to tidy up and make it easier for anyone besides the (as it seems) dozen or so people who post here regularly to find useful information regarding clubs and results. No slight intended to either side.

I can't believe no one is discussing today's CL tie.
Who will start etc. I expect Henrik and Chris up front. Agathe says he's ready so Momo sits. Can't wait. Today's a perfect day --- my pub will show this match and Liverpool on side by side TV's so I can see both! I'll break out my Celtic-Liverpool scarf I got outside Anfield. YNWA!

Tomorrow's match will be shown on tape-delay for those watching on FSW but hopefully I can make it down to the pub again.

Im not sure if I believe this kleberson stuff, why tell us now that it isnt going to happen?
Maybe its the paranoid celtic supporter in me but when you look at our summer signings and look at him its just miles apart, this may be coming out just to make us think we had some ambition and to ease the pressure on the management after that really piss poor performance in the tie against basle.

    Gutted.

I don't know about the rest of you lot, but I was just gutted by the result in Basel. MON's strategy left a lot to be desired. As any person who has watched American football can tell you, there is a hackneyed phrase that goes, "Prevent defense only prevents you from winning," which is no less true for its overuse.

A tragic result that will have long-term implications for the financial and thus competitive health of the club. It will take a long and wild UEFA Cup run to even begin to make up for the lost revenue of the CL, even if Celtic's performance there had only equalled their last season's.

Here is hoping that this served as a harsh wake up call for the board and for MON, who seem to have allowed themselves to consider Celtic a much better side than they really are.
