You think the coaches and players in the NFL never think about formations, plays and the like?

There's nothing unique to soccer about obsessing over that type of thing.

He was, for a minute. Then he joined the "block everyone that dares question me or push me to substantiate my thoughts/claims/etc" crowd at the first sign of having to do more than just tweet what he thinks.

American soccer coaches fiddle with lineups and formations all the time. Not sure what difference pro/rel would make.

Not so sure about Bournemouth going down. I mean they could, but not sure I would even say likely they are likely to at this point. Everton and Southampton look completely devoid of ideas and things are getting really dark on the blue side of Stanley Park.

I could definitely see a world where all three newly promoted sides stay up. Which shows that even with all the challenges of modern football and the massive discrepancy between the divisions that lower division sides still can compete when they are promoted. When you strip everything away the basic system of pro/rel still works.

It works when the lower divisions are fairly robust.

Are you just realizing now that MLS doesn't attract the level of coaching and playing talent as the EPL? Do you think it's a profound insight on your part that DC United doesn't have as good a coach as Manchester United?

And what would pro/rel do to improve coaching in the US?

As far as I know, the only American football coach running a soccer team is Ted Lasso. And he's doing a great job with Richmond.

Only thing I know about nfl coached is that they are like battleship game player strategist. He just guess if I go to D4 let's hope my opponent on his side go to D4. Just guessing nothing sophisticated or strategic aboutnfl

This post is a great example of ignorance and arrogance wrapped up all in one. It's the Dunning-Kruger effect in action.

Would you be okay with the sheets if they weren't laminated? Would pro/rel get rid of laminated play sheets?

You're clearly very upset by this.

Lol come.om man you.watch nfl how many times you.have same.plays over and 9ver again and them something different not.because strategy but because one coach hoped that other coach will not GUESS what other is doing. Whole game nfl coaches spend like Dr evil in that movie circling his finger guessing which button he wants to press and get rid of people at his table. That is basicly nfl coach just guessing

I'm not sure why you keep bringing up the NFL and its coaches and players on a thread about pro/rel in American soccer.

What would work is coaches going to lower division and learning.american coaches are just rugged Boring and un imaginative most exiting team in MLS was Atlanta under Martino because his coaching starterted from lower division or smaller aides where he learned philosophy or counter attack what can you learn in closed league
