I did thought I started one already but I couldn't find it. Blame the search function. I was talking to my wife about our daughter and said it's gonna be crazy when she hits puberty in 5 years. ( My daughter is 7). My wife tell me, it will be 10. I was saddened. Does it happen that fast and does she really change from being a daddy's girl?
Girls are going into puberty earlier and earlier nowadays, so, Yes? Also, regardless of her age or willingness to accept it, she will always be daddy’s girl. I have informed my boys that they will always by my little boys even when they are taller than me.. my oldest already has larger feet than me, so its only a matter of time before ge passes me.
Found it! https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/the-adventures-in-parenting-thread.2114554/ I don't have any experience with girl children. My son is 17 and is waiting to hear back from colleges and finishing up his Eagle Scout.
Hah...when my sons came home from HS soccer practice they'd pick me up and carry me into the kitchen. My wife would yell..."put him down!"
There is a parenting and family forum. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forums/parenting-family.1184/ It gets no traffic. I don't think there's a lot of value in posting there since nobody looks there. Like Mr. Adtigers says, we only hang out where we want to hang out and the rest of the place might as well not exist
I know my daughter watches Roblox and Minecraft on YouTube so she now says Bruh!, Sus, and Noob all the time. It's hysterical.
My 4yr-old has been doing the “bro, dude, maaaaan, bruh” thing for a while. We don’t have any of that stuff at our house. She’s just picked it up from classmates.
Both my kids love My Little Pony; the New Generation One of the characters is Princess Zephyrina Storm aka Zipp Storm We all look and can tell this is a wink and nod to the gay community. I tell my wife, she looks like Maddow with rainbow hair. My wife looks at and says "I know nothing about soccer and I can tell you that's Rapinoe!" I felt really dumb I didn't see it Immediately.
It’s good to see justice done. Cop convicted in Breonna Taylor case. https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/01/us/kentucky-breonna-taylor-jury-brett-hankison/index.html
