The approach from S-Pulse is not an official offer, just a formal expression of interest, so it is still possible he could go somewhere else. SPulse probably WILL acquire his contract rights officially, but the rumour around Yamanashi recently claims that the deal which sent Yoshida (U22NT wingback) to S-Pulse included an agreement to loan Shirosaki and one other player (possibly Nagai) to Ventforet, in return. If that happens, then Ventforet could have an all-YamaGaku strike force next season (with Milan Kabe who is now a second year player). In any case I think it would be a better chance for Shirosaki, who would never get playing time at S-Pulse given their current roster.
Musashi Suzuki (Former U-17 JNT) with a hat-trick today, also Yamamashi Gakuin already knocked out with no goals from Shirosaki. Toin Gakuen (Kanagawa) look like the strongest side, they've already won the Inter-High Tournament earlier this season.
There's highlights of all the games here. http://www.dai2ntv.jp/program/corner.php?corner=000001069g&page=1
They're locked outside the Japan. At least, in Italy we cannot watch them. EDIT: I did it!! I've installed the software Hotspot Shield! It's freeware and it allows to surf anonymously. If anyone doesn't manage to watch japanese videos, I suggest to install that software.
Just go to the Japanese version of justin.tv during game time. People were streaming almost every single match yesterday and it will probably be the same today.
Two big upsets today Both Shimizu Shogyo and Aomori Yamada lost today. Miyaichi's brother scored 2 Musashi scored again and had an assist. Goru's school lost on pk's
Ok I would have a few questions concerning this if I may. 1) Top scorer currently is Hiroki Tamura from Mie High School who has scored 5 goals (and he is a midfielder) correct? 2) Mie and Oita are the underdogs between the 8 High Schools? 3) If it would be possible could you give me the names of the Stars or players to watch for in their respective teams this is the list I came up with: A) Hyogo - Goto Kanta B) Oita - Akira Okabe - Kajitani (btw what is his name?) C) Chiba - Ryuji Izumi (this guy was not specifically mentioned before the tournament but to me he really looks like a player to watch for) D) Tochigi - no idea here, I was thinking perhaps Akira Kikuchi and Fukuzawa (what is his name btw) E) Gunma - Musashi Suzuki - also what can you tell me about these two players Yoshimori Kaneda F) Fukushima - Takashi Onuki G) Mie - Hiroki Tamura - Takuma Asano - Yoshikuni Y. Kuniyoshi H) Aichi - Tuyoshi Miyaichi Also main favorites to win the tournament perhaps Gunma, Hyogo and Fukushima? Thanks in advance
There's actually a four way tie for top scorer http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/hs/90th/data/goal.html If you go to this website there's an overview of every single team in the tournament and who their key players are. http://web.gekisaka.jp/?u=/index.fcgi?twm=v&menu=fl&guid=ON&key=Xxp0myW8&twi=88128
After today, I would say that Funebashi (Chiba) are favourites but then again anything can happen in HS football. It's amazing that Shoshi (Fukushima) are in the quarter-finals after everything they've been through after the March 11 Earthquake, the team had to train in Tokyo away from the rest of the school. A real show of their character and sheer mental strength.
No real favorite to me, too many factors can change the outcome of the game. Izumi has been the best player of the tournament so far, I've watched 8-10 games and was really pleased by the overall level and the sophisticated football played.
I would like to have see that. I'm interested in football in Japan. Considering that Japan is the most successful in the Universaide, 5 Gold Medals, 1 Bronze and 1 4th, I'd imagine High School football isn't too far behind.
