Seeing growth in MLS “just a matter of time” – Rich Motzkin 'On the topic of the Apple deal, Motzkin posited that the league being a first mover in the streaming space with Apple should be commended, continuing: “Now you see the NFL, they've got deals with Netflix and Amazon, and that has also created that opportunity for all these other sports leagues [to turn to streaming], but people should recognize that MLS was the first professional league to be innovative, and take that risk, which has created opportunities for everybody else out there.”'
You had me with the opening phrase quoted: "On the topic of the Apple deal..." I tend to gloss over most posts in this thread because they stray so far off-topic
Porto have only failed to qualify for the Champions League or Champions League qualifying once since 2003-04, though that was last season.
Haha. I did a double take on your post, but then thought that it was a cheeky riposte to my allusion to off-topic posts in this thread.
That is just a minuscule option to watch CWC, is also on Univision, Unimas, Globo, truTV, TBS and obviously DAZN worldwide that’s the one that I’m watching and I would like to know how many people are watching worldwide.
I posted this in a TFC-NYRB match thread: “ps. Does Warren Barton ever stop talking?! I haven’t heard him do a match in a long long time. And can’t say I missed him for a minute”
Rapids - LA commentator Mark Rogandino: "Zack Steffen stepping away to be with the National Team". He got injured, had surgery, and is out 4-6 weeks! He's on the injury report distributed to the media by the team! Is it so hard to do that level of research?
I don't see any CWC games scheduled on max or any of their Turner channels. Did they carry only the group stage? MLS website says "All games can be watched for free on DAZN.com." but when you click the link it wants you to subscribe or "buy a pass". Does anyone know how watching these games on DAZN works? Thanks in advance.
This guy twitters that "hockey in Florida continues to be a joke " but nobody in the eastern conference is laughing anymore.
The games are on TNT/TBS linear channels only. Turner doesn't have the streaming rights, hence why the games haven't been available on MAX. DAZN has the exclusive global streaming rights for the CWC.
I found that depending on where you're signing up (app, website, etc.) the free option is easier or harder to find but it is there. I'm watching Benfica-Chelsea right now with a free account.
Thanks for all suggestions on the viewing options, I'll take a closer look to figure this out. I hope to watch Inter play PSG
I note that when you open the app the current live games aren't there. But if you wait for the page to refresh they show up.
Neil Sika is bad at PBP. So I just wanna say thanks again for providing the local radio option, which I can use for home games
Me too. I’ve only been watching highlights so far using DAZN. What are the chances that will be able to watch the PSG Miami match for free? You’d think that the demand for that match would be about as high as any, so what’s their incentive to allow people to watch it for free??
All the games are available for free on their streaming service. Select games have also been picked up by Turner for broadcast on traditional cable and cable alternative services.
