https://www.macrumors.com/2025/05/15/mls-season-pass-now-free-for-xfinity-customers/ I'm surprised Direct TV isn't involved with this as well.
It's not just MLS that has bad production........... It's hard to keep track of how many goals the Florida Panthers are scoring in Game 7, especially when TNT doesn't even show it happening."And Reinhart just scores. Reinhart just put the puck into the back into the net..." - Eddie Olczyk while TNT shows a different replay. #NHL pic.twitter.com/XhAfy8OPpv— Awful Announcing (@awfulannouncing) May 19, 2025
Originally you needed an actually separate subscription. Then it was included with the non-ad tier. I'm not entirely sure what the current state is, all the streaming services get me confused and I subscribe to paramount yearly unlike the others.
As of now, lafc vs America is only on dazn. Surely Univision and maybe Fox will be trying to simulcast, right?
Paramount+ has a whiparound show for Open Cup matches. This is the best the Cup has been treated since... ever.
NBCUniversal Bids on MLB Rights Dropped by ESPN https://www.thewrap.com/nbcuniversal-bid-mlb-rights-dropped-espn/ Of note, NBC's bid is for a lot less money than what ESPN was paying for them previously ($550M/yr).
NBC only wants the Sunday Night games, no highlights package, no international radio rights, potentially the home run derby. Plus NBC already has Sunday Night commitments for the NBA and NFL. So a fair amount of the MLB games would be on Peacock. Not sure if this is a sign of the bubble bursting, or that company's aren't sure of what the media landscape is going to look like moving forward. Interestingly NBC Universal is also bidding on MLB rights too, as they would put the games on the USA Network.
Thanks for reminding me that there were midweek cup matches. For once I’m grateful for an OT post in this trainwreck of a thread.
This one is very very close to the topic because MLS teams are playing and its on TV (well, streaming)
I've yet to witness a game that has a stadium that was well attended. For all the US Open Cup fans that were in an uproar over MLS and Leagues Cup, where are you now?
https://ministryofsport.com/mls-sig...night-soccer-sponsor-in-multi-year-extension/ Looks like Sunday night soccer is here to stay as they lock up Continental Tire and extend their partnership with a multi year deal.

I don't know how the MLS regular season is doing on Fox so far.
According to Apple i need to subscribe to Season Pass but I'm unable to subscribe to on any device due to "content issue" so **** it!
Dammit I managed to watch via a browser on Android but then I tried the app and it doesn't know me. I went back to the browser and now I'm in an endless loop of "select country" ... "select country"...
