Bruno has some quotes attributed to him that basically said the club were too cowardly to sell him. The only reason he didnt leave was family. But he is disappointed the club sat in thr fence or couldn't be a man about the decision. So basically it's looking like he just gave the club his "blessing" since they couldn't do it themselves. The 2nd part is a bit of an exaggeration on my part.
Seems to somewhat contradict his October interview where he suggested he was happy that the club allowed him to explore it
🚨🗣️Ruben Amorim doesn't want short-term signings, even if he has to suffer with injuries, he wants players for the present and future. That's the mission and the goal of the club. #MUFC [@FabrizioRomano] pic.twitter.com/bITTYfTDMV— Manchester United Forever (@UtdForever7) December 22, 2025 Sticking to his gu9s..
Honestly, he should not be starting again for a while - I liked what I saw with Martinez in his 45 min - moved the ball well, composed and in the right places
Ugarte has been an absolutely massive disappointment since coming here. Guy just can't hack it in the EPL. Then again, there's something sick with the soul of this team that just chews people up and spits them back out, a shadow of their ability. I was only partially joking that SAF made a deal with the devil for his success and the price was United wouldn't be successful ever again after he left.
not sure where we go from here now but all i want to see is Fernandes back as a 10, Diallo as a wide forward and no more Shaw. develop Dorgu, or why else was he bought? to playback up to an out of contract crock? and find some use for Mainoo. whatever you think about his physicality or whatever else he has a good skillset that we can utilise. re: the next manager, all the ones currently trending upward probably won't work here. Emery demands significant control, as does Glasner who is outspoken. if the board want to limit those things it would simply limit them

Man Utd interim head coach Darren Fletcher: https://www.skysports.com/football/...-latest-on-deals-signings-loans-and-contracts
To be fair though Ronaldo was foisted onto him. His team was going well the previous season and then Ronaldo happened...
And if you remember the team from the previous season, we'd be even better off now IMO. We are a lot faster and more athletic in defense. Big misses are Pogba and Greenwood, but I think the squad is overall better imo. Definitely has more speed at all positions.
Ole in interviews admitted that he was only OK with playing counter-attacking for so long and felt it was the season to try and push the team higher up and start pressing. As that is what he felt Man Utd needed to return to - a front-foot team. Problem is when you have CBs like Maguire and CMs in Fred / McT for example who are just "see ball, chase ball" it is destined for failure. Plus players like Rashford who was at his peak of not being assed to track back. Team is clearly better suited to pressing now and we have defenders and a keeper who are mostly ok with a higher line. So would be happy to see him back as an interim until the summer. Not a fan of going back and trying to recreate the past in that he had his time as the permanent guy. For sure best positioned in terms of understanding the club and experience in EPL for interim though afaict.
Ole is still soft. This weak ********ing squad has spit and chewed out better and tougher managers, as well as him.
All that prompted to 'cultural reset" .. on ole defense (full time stint) even he wasn't backed by glazers.
