The loss of Dorgu might prove beneficial. This gives Wilcox/Carrick an excuse to put Mount in. I think he and Shaw would have a better understanding. He's much more experienced player, too. It also means less energy, less drive in attack, which is less fun, less sexy, but I expect a more controlled approach. It will keep the team more fit and available over the course of the season. I like Dorgu a lot, but I feel his impact is better from the bench to give us an injection of life.

I really like our prospects going into next season, but we need a dependable scorer with good all around CF play. Amorim was right to demand another striker. I'm glad we didn't sign Gyokeres and I'm glad Hojlund is out. I think it's a smart move to sign Kane. I simply don't believe there are any other CFs around who are good enough. I would even prefer him over Haaland who is too one-dimensional for my liking. With Kane's contract up in 2027, we could make a play this summer.

I read if Carrick stays beyond summer, he would bring rashford back as well. Shame. I'm not sure about Kane as well, he is 32/33.

See, I actually said that previously and I was worried back then, but Im not really worried anymore. There's no way CArrick saw Rashford beating up the real farmers/beach league and thought that would work here. Isnt he gonna be 29?

Carrick wouldn't have that level of input over Wilcox. Our model has changed ,(for better and worse).

On the other point, Cunha starts over Mount all day long right now IMO. Even more so against teams more willing to cede possession to us, like a Fulham at OT.

Says the guy who backed neo-Nazis to fight a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. Who's in charge of Syria, again? Oh that's right, Al Qaeda.

Most "MAGA weirdos" want this insane foreign policy to stop. That's why he was elected, not because more than half the country hates Mexicans and think Canada should be part of the US. Maybe if you got your head out of your self-righteous ass and actually talked to "MAGA weirdos" you might have figured that out.

Silly me, I thought the guy they tried to assassinate and jail wouldn't be one of these psychos dragging us into the wars. It turns out, he is one of them.

Yeah, 29 this year. Would be hard to watch him strolling through games.

Supposedly the option fee agreed for Rashford is £26-30m and Barca are putting out rumours they want to negotiate that down.

So this just smells to me of us putting out rumours that Carrick likes him in order to try and get Barca to pony up what they agreed.

So yeah, nothing burger of a real story - just more posturing to try and secure the previously agreed fee.

Id definitly take one of their young mids. They have quite a few.

I know trades are not common, but they have a bunch of young assets.

Also the story for the other end of the pitch.

Think this guy has been key to our improvement at the back this season.
