    @NFLPatriot

    You might want to double check New England's record. They've played 27 games, not 25, and have 3 draws, not 1.

    We're just destined to be toast-deprived in the East.

    There will be no updates today. I am so pissed off at my Revs for blowing a tire, at home, against a team they beat 5-0 on the road 3 weeks ago, that I would toast them just out of anger.

    I need 24 hours to calm down.

    With only 4 matches remaining for them, Chicago attains toast status.

    Blasphemer!!! SJE is Toast, as the sacred scroll shows.

    "Toast is not elimination, that's Burnt Toast (Ash Dance required at this point). Toast is a beautiful state between the land of Hope (where Despair lays just below a sheer drape) and Burnt Toast (where the Gods of Math unleash wrathful flames that cook your flesh to oblivion) to await the Spring Wheat, Rye, Bulgar, & Oats of new season." Circle of Toast 4:13. Also known as the "Lamentations of The Metrostars".

    You are about three months late. We were realistically out of the playoff race in May.

    No matter how crunchy toasty seasonal toast may be, there are still only three lifetime members of the exclusive and highly coveted Perma-Toast Club: Miami Fusion, Tampa Bay Mutiny, and Chivas USA.

    Toast is a religious forum. Other statistical perspectives are blasphemous. Some had consulted the infamous sportsclubstats.com and came back somehow changed, their minds turned to the shiny rather than the toasty. Blessedly, Sportsclubstats.com has been relegated to the archive.com of history. Be careful here, lest ye become similarly afflicted.

    Personally I find fundamentalist grilledbreadahism anachronistic and abhorrent. There are much more modern ways to determine exactly when Chicago and San Jose are f****d each season.

    With Inter Miami and LAFC in the league after the Fusion & Chivas left, should that count as resurrection from toast?

    How about if the Rowdies get into the league?

    San Jose certainly came back from perma-toast, regardiess.

    Did they though? They've been mostly very bad since being resurrected.

    Break out the four-slice toaster!

    To be fair, I was on vacation last week and didn't have access to my spreadsheet, otherwise DAL and ATX would have been toasted last week. Despite the win this week, my Revs are toast (thanks to a big win by MON), as are Nashville.

    CHI, STL and SKC are officially eliminated, while a bunch of teams clinched playoff spots.
