I will try to make tAAAilgate 2024. I loved meeting DnD, Chelsea, and their families last year. Hopefully I can make it to more games this season.
Uh-oh. The last I recall I thought we were looking at 6/1, 6/22, 7/6 (but close to July 4 for some), or 8/31 after Leagues Cup (but school in session for some). We’re looking at vaca over the 27th. What’s going on on the 27th?? We don’t play in the Leagues Cup group matches. Edit: I see. Aston Villa friendly. Not sure where The Wife is with the planning. But if the voters speak and say the 27th, so be it. (Where does one vote? Is there a new poll?) Edit edit: Or is it by consensus?
I would 100% be in for renting the party deck. I would even kick in to help for those that can't afford the cost.
Good point. The next question is, when we do eventually get the party deck, is the team going to lose money from our alcohol consumption?

Absolutely. I am very partial to gathering together for two tAAAilgates this season, make up for lost time and whatnot. This board has always had a good mix of supporters' section posters and NPCs (laugh out loud). We have our own families, friends, game-day routines, etc. The beauty of the tAAAilgate is that we all come together no matter where we sit/stand in the stadium. Heck, I would bet the Nordeckians in here have your own preference over where you stand in that massive section.
I was joking about splitting my vote instead of “voting twice” for one date. ISTM it’s hard enough to organize one tAAAilgate, let alone two. But, as @Hamburgler03 pointed out, it might make sense for the tAAAilgate and the Party Deck to be two different events. And the Party Deck probably won’t take a lot of planning.
The Aston Villa game might be perfect for the party deck. Those of us who have season tickets won't have to worry about trying to resell their tickets.
I have to attend a wedding that day. I will be trying my best to get back to CBus in time for the kick-off. May not make it back in time for tailgate festivities.
