Anyone else having an issue trying to renew MLS Season Pass at the annual rate? My subscription expires on 2/24/2024 (I got it last year as a season ticket holder). I dropped my tickets for 2024, so I went to purchase it for 2024 but I am only getting presented the option to renew at the monthly rate. I texted with Apple and that was no help. It seems I may have to let my current subscription expire and then try to renew hoping the season rate will show. Not the best user experience.
I mean it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Season Pass app on Apple TV from what I hear. It's like watching it on Chrome. Unless the capabilities of Season Pass on a native Apple device have been widely exaggerated.
The only advantage that the Apple TV device has is the multi-screen option, everything else is the same.
You may be right. My subscription had lapsed and when I just reactivated it this morning it gave me the $99/yr price (actually $79 because I first reactivated my ATV+ subscription... for at least 1 mo) p.s. Anyone know if when you cancel ATV+ in the middle of your current month, do you get any prorated credit or do they just stop your subscription at the end of your month?

I am having the same issue. I was told by Apple support that I may have to subscribe via the app to get the yearly rate. (I can renew monthly at 12.99 because I have ATV). But they suggested I wait for my subscription to expire. i’m surprised they don’t know more but I will wait until after the 24th when it expires. $12.99 per month is twice the $79 yearly
Agreed, not sure if the 24th means I lose access at 12:01am and won't be able watch games Saturday (until I renew) or if I get access through the 24th and can renew on the 25th.
Mine renews on the 24th. I assume the last day of the old subscription is the 23rd and the first day of the new subscription is the 24th.
Mine, as well. It stated when I logged in that if we "cancel" now, we can still access it through February 24, 2024. So, I suppose it will cut off at some time tomorrow. I guess we can watch the "opening match" before hand. I think I just renewed. Hard to be sure with Apple.
I was hoping for some better programming outside of the game. My hopes have been dashed lol. The 51 second preview of my teams match is not all that intriguing. I'm sure I'll end up subscribing, but to be honest, I feel more distant from the league now. Perhaps it's because I have severe Messi fatigue, but I think the lack of any compelling programming outside of the actual 90 minutes of soccer hurts. Either way, as a union man I won't renew during the officials strike/lockout anyway
my season pass just expired and now I have the 79.99 option. I just had to wait prior to expiring, I only had the 12.99 a month option
