    Jesus do I have to specify end of Brazilian of mixed race heritage. Case is not white but he's also not black you can tell by looking at him and because of Brazil's history that clearly he's mixed not that it really matters it's just more the point that this thing is of course targeted at the black player and the Foreigner for some reason while I'm sure Jack grealish who was hurt allegedly is probably out of nightclubs down in bottles of champagne and nobody's following up on him

    Gary is talking about of his ass. First he says Rashford went to Portland and saying a 12 hour trip over a 4 day break is not professional when actually he went to NYC instead.
    Shoddy reporting by Sky, they said he was at the Knicks-Nets game on Monday when it was the NBA Cup game last Friday. I know he's been poor but come on now, there is definitely some agenda against Rashford

    Cool;

    - it will be on telly

    - Amorim gets a big team he will already have played away in the EPL (a do-over)

    - if we go out he get some more time to work with the players and for players to recover at key time for EPL / UEL etc

    we've had no attacking ideas today sadly and let ourselves down defensively. badly.

    we even let friggin Caster Semenyo have the freedom of the box to score. another weak Martínez challenge to go with it too

    Can we get a proper set piece coach that believes in man marking and get the ******** on with it.

    I maybe old school but proper man marking and sheer willpower is the difference on set pieces.

    Every game we give up set piece goals. Surely that is something they can improve on now. Just get to the ball first. It's not that hard.

    Not to exonerate the set-piece coach (Carlos Fernandez who came with Amorim) but he for sure didn't tell Zirkzee not to get tight and compete for their first goal. It was an awful attempt to jump defensively - weak and wet.

    Or the other day when Martinez didn't even jump. Or when Hojlund misjudged the flight and jumped under the ball etc.

    Fundamentally if players keep defending without any aggression or conviction and losing their individual duels or making stupid mistakes then the coaching really doesn't matter.

    Hope the players are getting it big time from Amorim and the coaches when they review.

    Sick of us signing so many pussy ass weaklings (Zirkzee may be big but he looks soft as putty). More signings like Ugarte and De Ligt (who we are missing and need back from his illness) please.

    I hate to sound like Gaz Nev but set piece is really about will and effort. Like beyond all the running and picks, it's about squaring up and getting your man.

    You got to want to dominate that space and your opponent.

    Cant even look at the schedule and see any light at the end of the tunnel...

    LIke in the past we look for easy stretches and the like. Every game until the end of season lolol is do or die. I know its cliche.

    At what point does Amorim look to the youth academy?

    Maybe he will quit this week and return to Portugal. I heard a club in Lisbon have a managerial opening.

    He missed his chance there, we already sacked his initial replacement and our new guy won the Lisbon derby last night to send us back top.

    Only Southampton stopping us being flat last in the form table (last 6 games);

    https://thefishy.co.uk/formtable.php?table=1

    Think it will take a few things happening for things to improve

    - Amorim will get more time with the players next few weeks (especially if we go out of the FA Cup given we are away to Arsenal)

    - club have to get a couple of players in January, even if just loans, at LWB & up front especially

    - he has to give some youth a chance, with so many players losing individual duels then can't see how some can be that much worse

    - he has to learn from his mistakes (eg Casemiro / Eriksen midfield etc.)

    - once we have fewer games he has to start settling on a more regular side, ie pick the 11 who will be with us next year and ditch those that won't (Eriksen, Maguire, Lindelof etc.) and give them more of a time getting used to eachother and the system
